Anybody hear of this stuff?

They have one for the engine, one for transmissions (manual and auto), as well as for fuel systems and hydraulic (i.e. power steering) systems. Mainly interested in the engine/tranny versions.

If it does actually work, it might help our crappy 1-2 shift collars, as well as protecting the motor... Not saying this is a substitute for rebuilding the tranny or proper maintenance, but anything to help reduce wear in our vehicles' powertrain is definitely welcome.

I wouldn't put that in my engine/transmission. They're made to use certain lubricants and for good reason. As you said, it's no substitute for proper maintenance.
