That's a very relative question. That's like asking what turbo is best.

Go on youtube and search for 2.0T exhaust systems and decide what sounds the best to you.

I guess my question was prompted by the fact that, after listening to a bunch of sound clips of various exhausts on the internet, they all seem to sound like crap (imagine a sound that's kind of a mix of vacuum cleaner and chainsaw and there's your typical A4/A5 2.0T aftermarket exhaust sound ). This is surprising, as I often see 2.0T VWs with aftermarket exhausts around town and many of them sound pretty good.

Maybe you should adjust your trebble, or stop watching videos that are titled "custom exhaust"

Like i said in my previous post, buy the one I have. The AWE sounds similar to a stock 996 on WOT, well at least to me it does.

Except that's the only way to get a good sounding 2.0T exhaust... custom, by a shop that knows what they're doing. With prefabs, you're pretty much stuck with what you get, and short of Akrapovič, the quality isn't spectacular either. Custom = tailored to exactly what you want.

Europaparts.com is moving to a new warehouse. They have 3 exhausts left, Stasis challenge edition, $795.

    Scoop it up!

    Oops, sorry.

I may flip my Billy Boat for this. It's only 2 months old and I'm not super happy with the way it sounds even at stage 2+

I love my sound setup with AWE exhaust and AWE downpipe but it was too loud with 034motorsport HFC so I took the HFC off the car.
