    Recommendations on any good tint shops in WA

    Hey everyone, looking to tint the B8. Wanting to get any suggestions if anyone has any for tint shops in the kitsap/tacoma/seattle area? Want to ensure the shop doesn't ruin the rear window and the amp, etc. Any help will be appreciated!

    I used Autotrim for my last 3 cars and they do a good job. They are out in Tukwila. I have my amp on the rear deck as well and I just wrapped and taped it up, no issues.

    Ooh awesome, i'm gonna have to check them out. I see you have 35%, that's what I want as well...you have any pics of what yours looks like. Also, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get VAG-COM hookups? trying to find someone with it myself to get some stuff done.

    Since you are in Bremerton go check out http://allclassautoglass.org/ they did our 2012 Tiguan a few months ago. They do great work. They have also tinted a few of my friends cars.

    Yes, I have a build thread and also posted in the B8 tint thread. As for the Vag com, I have a cable so I was able to do what I needed.

    Ive always used dealer xpress in auburn. Best tint job ive ever seen. He gets it right to the VERY edge of the window all the way around and then goes far enough down that I couldnt find the edge if I tried. Never seen someone do such a good job.

    Precision Window Tint in Silverdale. They removed the TERRIBLE tint on my old AMG c36 and re-did it all. They did an amazing job, and the people were very friendly and helpful.

    Midnight Window Tint. They have three locations; N. Seattle, Everett, Bellevue.

    They are the only people I'll use.

    Just picked up an S4 for my wife and would like to go the caramic route. Any recommendations? Seems like Huper Optik is the favorite online but apparently shops are few and far between. Car is supposed to be in first week of March so I've got some time to look around.

    Another vote for Accutint here. I had ceramic done on my B8 S4. Looks perfect and they were very friendly.

    Contacted Huper Optik and they referred me to Brett Buehler at Midnight Windown Tint for their products. Looks like they have a Bellevue shop on Northup Way. I also shot off a note to my salesman at Barrier to see if they have a shop they recommend or referred customers to. I'm thinking about a very mild ting at 40 or even 50% all the way around.

    Anybody care to comment on Midnight Window Tint?

    Advanced Tint LLC in Renton Just tinted my windows 20% all around and did an amazing job. Can't see any edges where the tint ends either. They were able to get my car in the same day I called to schedule an appointment. Awesome place and very professional!

    2002 Ming Blue Audi A6 4.2 with Magnaflow exhaust and KN drop in airfilter, 18x9.5 Black TSW Stowes, 5 mm H&R spacers rear, 5 mm in the front, H&R Street Performance coil overs, 20% tint all around.

    Thanks. I was only gun shy on the windshield (not suppose to touch those here in Washington), until I saw an A6 in their lot that had it. Not all that dark. Extremely happy I got it done. As far as the po-po, who knows, guess I'll deal with it if the Staters pull me over. City and county usually don't test tint...

    We have matching AZ stickers... I haven't seen any in the wild, other than mine, of course...

    Also, Brett, the owner of Midnight is an Audi guy....He's owned a B5 A4, a stage 3 B5S4, and now a B8 S5 that is heading to AMD for a supercharger this week....

    Anyone use Midnight Window tint in Everett? Lots of comments on the Seattle and Bellevue locations but not sure about Everett.

    I've used Darkside window tinting before. Two clear bras installed (one is my current allroad) and front windows done on a prior vehicle. I wasn't overly thrilled with the standard material used on the front windows, the orange peel was very noticeable. When I call him for a quote I'm going to ask about different products. Nice guy tho and he backs his work.
    Just a normal '13 allroad. Scuba blue, chestnut brown, ash wood, B&O, Nav, underseat bins, Alu Kruez, (wincos 30%-removed), Sun-Gard Shadow 32%, S4 aluminum pedals, stock all-seasons for the summer, stock rims with Michelin Alpin PA4's for the winter.
    FOR SALE: A5 5-arm Y-spoke 19x8.5ET32 with Pirelli P-Zero 255/40R19 100Y tires, lots of tread (used ~2k miles).

    Anyone ever heard anything about TintXX? They have 2 location in Renton and Kent. There's a Groupon deal right now, $150 for a car or $180 for an SUV/van. I don't think I've ever paid less than $200 on any tint job in the past for good film, even with a hookup...
