you shouldn't have to drop the motor, all 4 studs should be accessible from underneath and then from up top. Its been a while since i have pulled a set out, but i think with the right wrenches, sockets, and extrnsions you can yank these out completely in well under an hour (not counting the time spent to jack the car up). I think the flange nuts require a 17mm socket/wrench, but double check that.
If you just want to try tightening them, and you didnt reuse the factory heatshields, I think all you have to remove to gain access to all 4 studs is the Driveshaft heatshield, (which is just 3 allen head bolts if memory serves) and the lower spash/skid tray. If its the driverside you will also have you pop out your accordion intake hose.
