Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) warning issue

Since going to APR stage 2 (please note other possible relevant mods in my signature) a few months ago the MIL warning light on my A4 has been appearing fairly frequently. I don't have any noticeable drivability issues. The first couple of times that the lamp came on I reset it but after the 2nd or 3rd reset I took it to the Audi dealer (Reeves in Tampa - I'm still under warrantee, they're aware of the mods and they still cover me). The Audi tech said that the MIL was caused by the oxygen sensor before the cat with internal electrical malfunction. They replaced the front heated oxygen sensor, road tested the car and gave me the all clear but after a few days the lamp started apearing again. I've reset it about six times since I took it to the dealer for the fix on July 11th. The VCDS scan that I did before going to the dealer was done on July 6th and it indicated only one engine malfunction (too rich at idle) but my July 22nd VCDS scan (10 days after the dealer service) came up with six errors (see below). Any suggestions? Thanks.

P2188 gave me a whole bunch of headaches. Basically the cylinders misfire from too much gas I believe. I got chipped with stage 1 and it started happening like 3 or 4 months later. I had all 4 injectors swapped out, light came on again after a week. Heard it could be one of the O2 sensors, you had yours changed so I guess its not that. I also read on another board after a whole bunch of digging that it could be the fuel pump, if I recall that may have resolved the guys issues but that was a while ago I doubt i could find the thread. I sold my car before the dealer fixed it for me, so good luck man. Also, what year is your car? mine was a '10. Did it have any super rough shaking cold starts?

BTW, I noticed you have the K&N intake. Maybe try cleaning your MAF? Do the cone filters use oil, because that could be your problem.

Ok fuel (not alot but some) will get into your oil because we have (DI) Direct Injection. It's a little more common on our engines than lets say a Conventional Fuel Injection set-up because the injector is located in each cylinder, rather than in the cylinder head (Contentional Fuel Injection). Now when the seal goes on the pump it not only dumps fuel into your crankcase at an alarming rate (mostly @ idle) but it also throws the pump internals out of whack. We are talking about very tight clearences here. APR assembles their hpfp's in a sterile enviornment, just like in a Hospital's Operation Room & I'm not kidding. The slightest misque will always result (sometimes not right away) in a failure, be it the piston seizing or the seals blowing etc.. etc..
see if your oil smells like gas?

Thanks for the info. My A4 is a 2009 and no, the filter doesn't require oil. I'll check the oil tomorrow to see if it smells. I'm also going to bring it back to the dealer to see if they can track down the problem.

I'd bet you probably need better/newer plugs or swap out your coils. I do it them about every 15K just as routine maintenance. It isn't expensive and it isn't hard or long to do.

Misfire could be due to sparkplug blowout. Happened to me immediately after getting flashed.
