Special tool for getting cables through grommets?

Wondering if anyone can recommend a special tool for getting electrical cables through grommets such as this:

In some instances one end of the grommet can not be removed from the car body (such as in some Avants/estates/wagons) which can make it very difficult to feed cables through.

I've used methods such as wrapping some electrical tape around a flat blade screwdriver with the cable and feeding it through, but I'm wondering if there is a better way or a tool specifically for the job?

The best special tool I know of is one of these:

Cut it and straighten it out, then tape your wire to one end and fish it through the grommet. Because the hanger is somewhat bendable you can manipulate it through easy enough, I used one most recently getting speaker wires into the front and rear doors.

I usually use a long zip tie. While the wire hanger works it can pierce the shielding of wire.

The zip tie is probably better as well in that I imagine its more flexible than the wire hanger. I will have to give that a try next time I am fishing wires through a door (which will probably be this weekend).

Buy a pack of the long zip ties from home depot. Cut the head off then tape whatever cabling you're running to it and pull it through. If its really tight, you can use something like windex as a lube to get it through.
