Just wanted to share the install with everyone and give some shout-outs to people who helped it along the way.
** Alan Wei @ Mod Bargains (714-582-3330) really hooked it up with the AWE Touring exhaust. Normal lead time was 8 weeks as AWE exhausts are all custom made but he had one in stock for me. He’s not just a salesmen, he’s a tuner himself so I wouldn’t hesitate to call him if you had any questions.
** Deron Johnson @ Audi North Scottsdale (480-538-4061) was amazing from start to finish on ordering my wheel set from Germany. Not only was the price good but he was completely transparent throughout the entire process. Deron even sent me photos of the wheels once they arrived on pallets from Germany to make sure I was completely happy.
** John Voss @ AWE Tuning ([email protected]) was tremendous in answering any questions I had with the AWE exhaust. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and overall a really nice guy. He truly put any qualms that I had about installing an aftermarket exhaust to rest. Needless to say, I don’t have any regrets about the exhaust. None.
** Dion Malet @ Drive Auto Works in Lyndhurst NJ (201-340-4705) did a great job on the exhaust and wheel install. He’s the owner of the shop and is very knowledgeable on anything VAG related. Dion & Aldwin are both ASE certified mechanics and have worked on Audi’s for +10 years. Dion opened the shop after working at DCH Audi in Millburn and brought Aldwin and few other mechs over to Drive Auto Works. When I was in the shop they had an RS4 & RS6 sitting & awaiting engine mods, so these boys do serious work on high end Audi’s.
