Headlights are two different colors.. Why?

So my headlights are two different colors, both bulbs are 35w 6000k from DDM. Passenger side is the whitish blue and the drivers side is a faded yellow. Would that be a sign of a dying ballast? Its been like this since I bought the car a year and half ago and changing headlights and bulbs (not ballasts) have not changed anything . Any thoughts are appreciated!

Yeah, it's the igniter module that the bulb plugs into, my passenger side went, but the Audi dealership told me I just needed to replace the bulb, so I ordered some GE D2S bulbs off of ebay and when I went to install them, while pulling out the old bulb, the end of the connector was all black and I kind of broke the inside of the connector as well so that was my bad. Neways, I went searching on ebay and found an oem ignitor module for $200 shipped, instead of going to the dealer and paying like $800. So again I bought another set of GE D2S bulbs, 35W, 4300k on ebay and installed the new module and everything is working great now. Hope this helps if any

Before doing anything, check the reflective piece in the headlight housing. The reflective coating gets burned off by the bulb on the rare occasion and even with a brand new bulb, the headlight will still be dull yellow. I recently had this issue with the OEM headlights and when I swapped in e-codes using the same ballast and bulb the problem went away.

I will check that for sure. However I was thinking of switching to a 55w DDm slim ballast kit. Like this:
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W Would that eliminate the problem that is outline below?

Yeah, the new 55w ballasts would replace the damaged one you have, eliminating the problem.

Awesome. May just do that. Problem solve and upgrade at the same time!
