Howdy folks.

I'm a German, moved over from Holland to California 1 year ago and got me an B6 S4 tiptronic. It's my first Audi after having owned several bimmers (E30, E36, E46) and several other brands like Opel, Peugeot, Renault (Clio RS 2.0 16V) and Mitsubishi. It's my daily driver and I'm having immense fun with it.

It's the familiar blueish grey color, the black Recaro seats with the off white inserts, Bose system with sub and there was a tape deck in it when i got it (seriously Audi .... a tape deck???).

Extras are H&R lowering springs, I mounted 245/40 tires all around and I got myself a RNS-E DVD Nav from Europe with the GPS extension cable.

Planned updates are different exhaust including software and ...... that should be it for now. :)

Yes, love my RNS-E, loaded 2 cards with MP3's, Nav has excellent reception and guidance.

Talking about difference between my BMW's and my S4, there is one point I don't really like about it. It's VERY nose heavy. I was driving up Glendora Mountain Road, very twisty and there was an MR2 behind me who could overtake me easily because the car kept pushing over the front wheels.

My E36 328i or E46 M3 never had this problem, much more light footed at the front. On the other hand the S4 is very planted in just about every longer corner, had some hairy moments with my Bimmer's and the back drifting out a little bit too far. It's just a different driving experience in total, it's fun to see these differences.

Also I'm bummed out I can't test the top speed but I guess any country that doesn't have an "Autobahn" has that problem. :P
