    Question Anyone else have a bad experience with USP Motorsports?

    So Last Friday, The 29th, I ordered up a Metal clutch slave, and upgraded braided line because they were having that summer sale, and it was ending on the 30th of June. Placed my order in the AM, was told it would go out that day not a problem.

    So I hear nothing, don't get any E-mail saying it has shipped. And I just got the silver line, no color, so no special order. So at around 3PM I sent a E-mail to them, no reply, sent a PM to them No reply. I got busy and did not call. So nothing over the weekend, so Monday, I sent a PM, a E-mail, and nothing. Tried calling on Monday and nothing.

    Still has not shipped, so then I sent a PM on Tuesday, E-mail, and then I called, talked to them, And he told me, word for word " I see your order, I will make sure it goes out today via USPS, and you WILL get it by Friday this week" Cool! And this was in the AM, so plenty of time to get it shipped off, and I was thinking if they are running a sale on these, then there should be plenty in stock ready to go, at least that is how my company does it.

    So I get no E-mail all day, around 2-3PM I e-mailed them again, and sent a PM just to check again. So someone E-mail's me back, and states O yeah we are out of stock, we wont have anything in stock tell the end of the week! WTF? So I was just lied to on the phone! I understand things get out of stock, BUT if a customer calls, and you tell him it will ship out today, and you will have it by Friday, but when really, you won't. That is what upsets me.

    And still no one will respond to my PM's on here from USP.

    Could just be simple miscommunication, the 1st guy on the phone thought they had enough (lets say he saw 10 in stock), not realizing all 10 of those were already spoken for. It sucks that the wrong info got to you, but i wouldn't jump to the conclusion of them being malicious about it right off the bat.

    Sale items usually move in high volumes so delayed responses or shipping times for them dont really surprise me. If you ordered on the last business day of the sale, then it also doesn't surprise me that they were out of stock either. Yes perhaps they should have preplanned or communicated to one another better, but stuff happens. Not getting a response over a weekend or on a Monday is not weird either, these people have lives and families too and all those emails and phone calls pile up for Monday morning (and many businesses are closed on the 4th of July).

    I agree it is frustrating, as I think we have all been in that boat before with one company or another, but getting upset about it is just going to ruin your day, and not make your parts get here any sooner, so grab a beer, light some fireworks, and enjoy the day.

    he also could have "seen your order" as in, he saw you placed an order, not the actual parts in your order. Calm down on bashing people man, that is not a terrible experience at all, things get backed up especially around the holidays or during sales. Today is the 4th man, so many people are on vacation or out of town or closed.

    I tend to agree with this sentiment most of the time. But this sounds like pretty shitty service all around from what he says. order is placed, then zero response, no confirmation. Then after repeated attempts he DOES get a confirmation a reassurance that they'll send it out. And then again later after NO confirmation you finally get through and they say sorry, we hosed you. ?
    Huge thumbs down, but it's probably not common for them or they wouldn't be in business.

    That is very true. I know things happen, I run my own online parts store, also. However, before giving a customer a answer, put me on hold, double check the status, I don't mind holding for a couple min. for you to check to see the stock, status etc.

    Just to give me a for sure answer, and say " It WILL go out, and he even stated we have them in stock..

    Just really bad service. And I still have not gotten any PM's bad from the company in regards to this, they were on top of it when I was wanting to pay, but since I sent money, they don't respond.

    So your saying you would be fine with placing a order, no order e-mail, nonthing, and then waiting and sending 5-6 e-mails and PM's and nothing? Now if I orders on Tuesday, yeah I would not be upset because of the 4th today. But I ordered on Friday in the AM.

    No excuse, and to tell me on the phone it WILL go out. Like I said, if your not sure, CHECK!

    I purchased the metal slave cylinder through their summer special a few weeks ago and had no problem with the transaction. The only thing I really *didn't* like was the fact that the packaging they used was chinsy. They just took a random part box and shoved the metal slave and braided line in there and wrapped with packing tape. When I received the package, it had a small hole on the corner of the box. Everything was in there, but I would have appreciated a little more professional-looking packaging material.

    Looks like they might have just plainly been out of stock by the time you ordered it, and someone over there dropped the ball, or was just trying to appease your frustrations. In any case, if you're that upset at them misquoting you the delivery ETA, you can always ask for a refund and go elsewhere. I think JHM might make a metal slave (or VAST).

    I got their led liscence plate setup for my B7 a couple months ago and they do not work. I decided that it would just be less of a hassle to forget about it and move on than even bothering to call them. I have had too many bad experiences with vendors to waste my time and effort

    I also order my slave last week and received it on Monday. I would assume they may have had a last minute rush on these as the sale was ending. Still no excuse for lack of communication.

    Did you get your metal slave cylinder in a "hokey" package, or was the packaging nice? Just wondering if USP just doesn't put the money into good packaging material... good to know if I decide to order anything else from them.

    no it came in the metal slaves in box I think with the braided hose tucked in.

    yeah i talked personally via email with chris green a number of times, he said he could make my 2.7t as fast as their VR6 on E85... its not even close....

    im so freaking pissed, i quit writing him...

    Ask for a refund, so your time is not wasted anymore and go somewhere else, unless they can take a percentage off or provide free shipping to compensate your bad experience.

    Gregg sent me a E-mail and said they have more lines in stock and its going out today. So we will see. This will be the last time I order from them.

    x2, I recieved an order confirmation email right away and then a shipping confirmation email shortly after... The slave arrived a few days later. I have no complaints. It sucks the communication is not good with them. Good luck with everything.

    Nope nothing, I only got a E-mail with a link to this thread saying " Really" ? I just want my Slave and line, and hope it works lol.

    He said they go fast, and like I stated, just put me on hold, check the stock, if he would of done that, and say, hey they are out of stock, we will have more in after the 4th, I would of been 100% happy with that.

    Sir, we apologize for the poor communication and for the mistake someone made assuming we had the lines in stock ready to ship. Sometimes we can get a little backed up with internet business since we are also a full service and repair shop. We are working diligently to get all back orders fulfilled. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    And for the record on post #20, that's not all the email said. But feel free to filter it as you please to make us look bad. You will get your line and slave when more stock arrives. You are welcome to cancel the order and receive a refund at any time if you feel this situation to be unacceptable. Thank you.

    I have ordered several items from USP multiple times, I have had great service, fast communication and shipping.

    The reason I could not find your order is because you email me asking about an order you placed. 95% of our orders come through the website so I checked our website system. Then you tell me its a wholesale order and that you placed it with Jeff, which would not be in our website system. That is where the confusion came in, if your dealing with one sales person try to direct all your communications through them to avoid confusion

    Well I got the Slave and line today, they REALLY need to work on there packing! The box inside looked like it was smashed on the floor, It was just in a padded envelope with no protection. But I got it.

    and who cares what a part like that come packed like, nothing can really break it and it has a lifetime warrenty if something does happen in the mail.
