Audi Engine Rebuild Shop in Orange County, CA?

Hi Gang!

Does anyone know of a reputable and reasonable Audi engine rebuilder in Orange County, CA? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone has any idea of how much an engine rebuild would cost?

Don't know about Orange county but up in LA county u have the first shop shop to crack 400hp on the 1.8t back in 2004. http://www.ecodetuning.com/.

Thats where a lot of us order our parts and tune from.

They also do engine building and have the most widely used big turbo tune on here.

Most of these cars are closer to 10 years old than 5 and lots of people have "been there-done that".

They are the go to shop for engine rebuilds. Especially the 1.8T.
Give David or Greg a call. These guys Built my friends 1.8T years ago to Rev to 8500 RPM this place is Legit and fair.

Hey Mike! though not in Orange County... the team at Raven Motorsport in Long Beach would be a shop to highly consider.. Matt is an ASE-certified Audi uberexpert that i consider more than competent and reasonably priced..they work with ya and always seem to add a freebie fix/repair when one starts coming around more often.. do a search here and on Yelp..good luck!

Auto Union Tuning do a lot of rebuilds, especially on the 1.8t's. They are doing one now for a forum member. They are in HB and they use to be lead techs at Audi dealerships, good prices and great work. Talk to Raz or Dave
