    Whats the Differance of D1S and a D3S xenon bulb?

    Whats the Differance of D1S and a D3S xenon bulb? Will the D1S work in the xenon housing if it came with D3S?

    no. the connectors are different, because d1s uses twice the voltage of d3s. if you modify the connector, it may work for a couple minutes, but will fail quickly.
    AEB: Boost goes in, valves come out.

    i can't get an answer from anybody. Maybe you can help me. I bought a left and right Xenon housing and one side is complete and the other only housing. but i bought a ballast and a led module. Ok the one LED Module is 8K0907472 and the other ends with a letter A. 8K0907472A Will this work when i retrofitted to my 2010 A4?

    d3 and d4 bulbs are murcury free bulbs. they have a special ballast.
