Any opinions of Advanti brand wheels. They have great prices, and some of the styles look pretty good too. I am checking out these.

usually the super cheap stuff breaks super easy (bend/crack) and has lower paint quality. I havent had any first hand experience with these, but that is what I have found over time.

Those wheels do look sweet though
And for under $400, you can afford to scrap them!

I wouldn't be weary of the brand, but more-so the reseller (i.e. the site you linked to). Advanti are a quality brand, just bigger overseas. I was looking at a wheel they had Edmund Breyton design for them last year.

I really like that design. Hmm, I see new wheels in my future (after I get the tune thing figured out).

Eh, if an F1 team is confident in Advanti as a company, I think you'll be in good hands if you go with them. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...6222623&type=3

Yea, but I know they do not use the same processes to create these wheels as they do the others. Just because they can, does not mean they do.

That comment was done, "tongue in cheek". I pretty sure they don't use the same process to build their F1 wheels that they do for their consumer products. But I also don't think they put out cheap products that don't stand up to use. Just wanted to put it out there, that they know what they are doing when it comes to wheels, and aren't some shanty wheel company.

A little over a year. No issues so far, outside of me using the wrong size lug nuts and having my rear wheel come off. That baddie just came off, and rolled nicely into the street.

I have heard of them, you never know until you try them out. Majority of the guys that have experience with them on this thread are happy so I'd say just give them a try if you like the design.
