so after installing one piece headlights into my 98' the gap between the headlight and hood seems to be too much, not a flush fitment. any ideas on the fix?

    1. yes i cut the fenders and the lights sit well

    2. all tabs are attached except the bottom tab on the driver side light, nothing to do with the gap size.

There is lots of adjustment to be had in the front end. On the headlights, I believe the lower 2 mounts have height adjustments. The outer/rear one has a plastic spacer that twists to go to different heights, and I'm pretty sure there was some adjustment on the lower/inside slot thing as well. Once those are up high enough, you can use washers on the top mounts. Plastic or stainless would be best, so they don't rust.

You can also raise the rad support a little bit to get the lights higher, but you would then need to adjust the hood latch to be lower. I can't remember if that part is actually adjustable. I would assume that it is.
