Looks like you posted the right information but wrote 2.0TSI instead.

Also how necessary is the CAI for a Stage 2? Will it change driveability or just power levels?

Can anyone comment on Unitronics tuning on AEB engines? Any good? The price seems alright for the stage 1+.

I see your BT file is now 415cc with a 3.5bar fpr.

Can this be done with old users using 4bar fpr? I notice the car runs very rich, sometimes insanely rich.

    Sorry for the late answer,

The 3.5bar fpr that's on the specs, is what the file was set to...

we recommend a 3.5bar, it might run rich from some other things...

How about a specific tune for the FT running on the DBC (AEB) motor?

Did you say DBC motor? Man stay the fuck away:

This is what they do to your AEB or any other DBC motor. Not to mention when it runs, it's runs like ass and they still haven't resolved the warm/hot start issue.

The OEM filter element often becomes a restriction at Stage 2 power levels. It is recommended to update the intake/filter element!

The Genesis/Bosch "Green Giant" 415cc injectors provide optimal spray pattern and offset when compared to the previous Bosch "Green Top" 440cc injectors. This is why we've made the switch. The 415cc injectors flow ~440cc/min at 3.5bar.

That definitely looks like a bad connection/solder of the encryption board. I believe we've been communicating via email already. As I mentioned, I would recommend sending your ECU to us and we'd be happy to get things sorted out for you 100%. Please continue to communicate via email with me and I'd be happy to continue to provide you with support!

I currently have the apr stage 3 kit on my 2000 ATW and Im thinking a tune upgrade might get me some more power.
I notice the apr tune is for 91+ oct, Is your 440cc BT tune optimized for 93 oct or is also just for 91oct?
I also saw on your website that emission deletes are not available, but can you still code out the rear O2?
My GT28r is getting old and leaking oil so when it goes I might get the GT2871r, what do you charge to update the tune if I still have the GT28R when initially purchasing the tune?

Thanks for your question. All of our Big Turbo software is designed to be used with a minimum of 93 octane. for your 2000 ATW engine, there are no emissions deletes available, including rear oxygen sensors deletes. There is no need to receive an update going from a GT28R to a GT2871R. As long as the fueling supports your new power goals with the new turbocharger, you shouldn't run into any issues. Please email me directly at [email protected] if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Thanks,

    John

A little late to the game but just bought a 1999 2.8l and noticed you guys only advertise 2000-2001 for the 2.8l. I didn't think there was too much of a difference except for the facelift. Do you guys not tune 1999 2.8l's?
