top speed on stage 3 car?

I have read that top end on e01 is 190mph with stock tire size. Would stage 3 power with ECU limiters tuned out would be sufficient to reach close to 180+?

Realistically,? Done on a track of course, I wouldn't hesitate saying around 170-5ish... Bearing you have "Good" Brakes, plus Suspension modifications to aid in stabilization, as well as stopping from said speed.

I know some people will start chiming in but if memory serves me correctly stock S4 gearing will only allow, granted if you have enough horsepower to go to 186MPH +/- 1 for argues sake. I have personally reached 175 MPH GPS confirmed a few times but haven't found a long enough road to get me that extra 10mph. My car still had revs left and could have if I had enough road.

180mph is fast. You're gonna need a good chunk of road to reach that but it's definitely possible. Look how easy this s4 hits 160ish

180ish GPS then ran out of road but even with all my stabilization mods I wouldn't go any faster. The car was floating at 180.
So much to do, so little money to do it!

Sure. I hit 145 in my k04 stock fueling s4. I could have gone faster but I took my blindfold off to slow down..

I don't think the S4 was designed with any downforce consideration!! Feeling stable at higher speeds definitely requires aerodynamics for those speeds. I've done 150+ and depending on the car can feel very stable... in my Avant 130 doesn't feel good at all.

would you think track density bushing set in the rear add advantage to stabilize the car in high speeds? I have powerflex set but when its wet or snow car feels very unstable. So far I have biltein sports sitting on eibach springs and front sway bar and whiteline endlinks.

It is more about alignment set up for high speeds than bushings themselves. My car is set up with more toe-in which is great for lower speed turn in.... which in turn makes straight line high speed driving less stable. Ride height is also something to consider... having the nose of the car lower than the rear helps the car stick to the road at higher speeds. Having something like a cupra lip might be a simple aerodynamic change for high speeds as well.

Having harder bushings is probably more about feel and maintaining geometry of the suspension under power and weight transfer... which is good. Not much of a consideration when just driving straight at high speed.

I would see the range that is given for stock settings and put it towards zero.... so that would be a little toe in still. If you have changed your suspension height then it gets complicated but hopefully you have installed adjustable upper arms to bring the camber back towards spec.

This goes for both front and rear. Rear alignment also effects turn-in vs straight line stability as well.

The general rule though is toe out(front) and toe in (rear) for stability.... and then the opposite for steering... toe in (front) and toe out (rear) for quicker turns.

Just do a little at a time. That is why I suggested to keep within or towards spec.

well ok, we have the stability covered up. How about the power pumped by k04's, would they be sufficient to reach top speeds?
