I think its about time for a quick thread of all OEM paint colors for our class. I have a list of the colors that ill post in a few, and I'm going to try and post a collection of pictures of each color car. If you guys can input one now, feel free.

Santorin blue not listed ? It look sort of like the Ming maybe darker

Santorin is lighter than ming, I had a Santorin S4, when parked beside my ming A6 the difference was obvious

Also guys, input on rarest? There's basically three that i see competing:

Imola Yellow
Andorra Red
Tornado Red

Imola undoubtedly the most rare.

Tornado red it is first time I see on Audi A6 or even Audi , I have see VW Jetta with this color
there are some rare color never seen before, Imola is one of them , I see alot of, Silver, Beige, Black, very few greens.. for C5 A6

I've actually never heard the term "elliptical" used besides the exercise machine, so I don't know what that means. But they are VMR V710 wheels.

Lz5k is my paint Code and touch up paint look at the santorin blue that audifirst posted looks just like my color

these are the colors I can't confirm , I find similar but no one list under full name of the color just Green or Gray, so I am not 100% sure if this is it, I need to find the entire pallet of Audi colors from 1998 to 2005 for C5

Amazon Green this color shows was used in 1958 Audi
Amethyst grey used in C4, and newer Audi, found one in europe

Emeerald Pearl this color I found a lot under Audi A4 b5 series and Audi A8 D1 series, not C5

I'll start with one of the rarest, if not rarest, colors, tornado red.

I only know the RS6 stats from what I have been passed down and collected myself:

The Polar White, from the factory non-exclusive or custom, I have 1 documented but another one sighted in Seattle, Wa recently.
The Black Cherry Pearl, from the factory as an exclusive, I have 1 documented but no VIN or color code. At night it looks black, in the sunshine, it looks purple pearl.
The Imola Yellow, IIRC I have 5 documented.
The Misano Red, I have 15 documented.
The Sprint Blue, I have 1 documented, but have seen one in person, so I know there are more.

IMO, the rarest factory color would be the Polar White.

I have zero information on the others in the C5 family.

Since they are a smaller crowd, and are generally older and more mature, they have excellent documentation and information on their site. Including a registration section where people document where and who owns as many RS6's as they can find in the world.
