Works 19" VS-XX Wheels Need Help

Need some help,

I am currently working with an independent seller and considering a purchase. He, the seller, has a set of 19"x8.5" et35 (I think) Works VS-XX wheels wrapped with 245/35/r19 bridgstone potenza so4 pole position tires that have roughly4,000 miles on them.

The wheels were custom made for B7 S4 Avant.

The Works VS-XX wheels are about 4 years old and he is asking for $2500 for the package deal. Shipping is an additional $200 bucks so the whole deal for a price of $2700.00.

Questions: I have a B7 A4 on bilsteins and i am about 25" FTG. Does anyone forsee any issue i.e. rubbing etc...

I have heard that Works VS-XX wheels can be a little "soft" and are prone to dents and dings if you hit potholes etc... Any experience with this?

Anyhow, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have 3 days to decide as to whether or not i want to make the purchase.

Nope brad, i heard about the seller through a friend. I wish the individual was a local seller so i could try the wheels and tires on before i spend the $$$. Even though Fafa says i wont have any rubbing issues with a 245/35/19 tire, i have my reservations. Not to mention others have PM'd me and said i might have to roll my fenders to avoid possible rubbing with a 245 tire.

The seller is supposed to contact me with the exact off set that was made with the wheel when it was custom made for his 08 Avant S5. Once he does that i will re-post to get some other input. Will decide on the purchase in 2 days.

FYI, i am not opposed to rolling my fenders. Apparently my rear fenders have already been rolled or have no lip at all. The front may need to be rolled.

Heading to St. Pete this weekend for a short stay at a hilton close to the beach. The fam and i love St. Pete!

dude, i am 24" FTG and i run 19x8.5 et35 on a 245 with no rubbing. you're good, trust me. i haven't even put my coilovers on. i am still on neuspeed race springs.
