I have the 3" DP to 2.5" Magnaflow Muffler res delete and I deleted the dog bed muffler in the rear 1.8t 225TT single exhaust!
Its loud but has a great sound..I get compliments all the time..at times I wish it was not as loud when its cold but I got used to it.
after it warms up not as loud good deep throaty sound!

I've got a b6 1.8t tuned on APR stage one, I cut the exhaust off right behind the resonator and straight piped it all the way bay to 3.5 inch chrome tips. It looks awesome and give the car a very aggressive sound (like a V8), people love it. Theres not even a drone in the car. Get rid of both but make sure you use the widest pipes you can to keep the tone deep. If you want a video, pm me and ill text it to you.

I have the b6...forge turbo inlet, and stage1...i cut all the way back to the cat with 2.75" pipe and 4" tips (had to leave the cat on for emissions) and its nasty as hell, but I'm sick of losing boost. Theres no back pressure AT ALL...prob gonna put some magnaflows on soon.

I could write something cliché and insightful, but that would be too cliché and insightful.

Loosing boost from removing exhaust restrictions? Thats a new one. Turbo'd cars perform best with the largest pressure differential between the compressor and the turbine.

How does your car sound with stock everything and magnaflow mufflers? This was originally my plan to do with my 3.0 a4 but decided to try a resonator delete first because obviously it would be cheaper. Stock mufflers and no resonator gives a nice rumble at idle and under low accel sounds amazing up until about 3k where it's very raspy/rattley. People have compared it to a civic, some an old style m3. I don't like it very much when I'm getting on the gas. Doesn't drone on highway at all though

Do you mind getting a sound clip of your setup? I'm putting on magnaflow's in the near future and is debating whether to delete the resonator as well. Thanks in advance.
