Pic request: 225/35/18 on a 9.5" wide wheel

I did my searching and couldn't find too many results of guys running 225's with a 35 sidewall. I need a lower profile tire cuz my conti's look wayy too big and they rub too much. Not sure if they just run big or what but they look too big for my taste. Tyre stretch has a few pics but they're not that good .. So if you guys have any pics post them up! Oh and once I get new tires I'll be selling my 225/40/18 conti extreme contact dw's so if your interested let me know. They have less than 10k on them! Thanks!

rimtuck.com has a pretty good database of various tire sizes on various wheel sizes.

225/35 will have a significantly smaller rolling diameter than your 225/40's, and will probably look pretty goofy.

If your tires rub too much, roll your fenders more.

    You could possibly do 245 35 18

Do you still have them mounted on the rs6 wheels?

U sir.....have the best avatar ever!

Oh.....n roll and or pull the fender a bit! 225/35R18 a smaller rolling radius! X2 on the "it might look wired"! (just my opinion tho)

my front fenders are rolled as much as they can be and i really don't want to get into pulling the stock fenders if i don't have to. i would rather just get a smaller tire. but what would look "weird" about them?

Well, in my opinion, I think 225/40r18's stretch nice with 18x9. 225/40r18 should work well with 18x9.5 too. If u go 225/35R18, the sidewall is a bit shorter in length then the 40's. So it will have to stretch out a bit more. Not sure how that will look. Unless u like the super rim poke look. Just an example.....

Either buy 225/40's in a different brand of tire other than Conti's that stretches more like a Falken on IMO Hankook's, they tretch well and wear great. Orrrrr just get 215/35's cause you want to be lower... this way you'll be sure to clear

    ignore ride height
