I didn't see any pictures, does anyone have photos of the double-five spoke S5 wheels (19x8.5 ET32) with 20mm front/25mm rear spacers?

I'm running 15/20 now and it's not quite as aggressive as I'd like with the drop.

Lowered on ST Coilovers (I believe about 1.75 or 2"), stock dual-5-spoke, 19x8.5 ET32 wheels in 255/35 wheels, with 20mm front and 25mm rear spacers.

Until I can spare the expense of the wheels I'd like.

I bought this car and it’s at shop with KW HAS suspension. I don’t know spacer size on it.

I told shop I want 0.5” wheel gap and they said it might rub. Does anyone know if it will rub?

I'm trying to look for a response that say's something about H&R OE springs + ECS 12.5R, 10F spacers are a go. I've been reading different threads about suspension and spacers but I've NEVER seen anything about those specs. Can someone just tell me that it'll be fine and I should pull the trigger on it, please? Lol

EDIT: It'd help if I provide more details of the car, huh?
    So it's a 2014 RS5 on stock 5-spoke wheels wrapped in 275/30/20 Michelin PSS.

RS5 typically run the wider spacer up front with the narrower one in the back, typical combos are 15f/10r. I run this but I think I would like a bit more out back so 15f and 12.5r would be perfect imo.

sweet. i actually went ahead and ordered 15f 12.5r and will be pairing it with the H&R OE.

    Advanti Racing "Cammino"
    19x9.5 ET35
    24 lbs. per wheel
255/35/R19 on Pirelli P Zero "AO - KA" compound (Audi co-developed variant of the P Zero UHP's, only 24-pounds per tire)
    10mm front spacers
    15mm rear spacers
~1.5" drop on ST Suspension coilovers

This tire/wheel combo is saving me about 9 or 10 pounds per corner. That's a nice chunk of rotational mass savings.

I had them powdercoated gloss black, and measured to fit like my factory set up was fitting with spacers. But, since these wheels are a bit wider, I realize now with the visual stretch I could use some thicker spacers. Might jump up to 15/20.

Been lurking around on this forum and finally did something to my car, so I'll try and share experiences and information like the rest of you wonderful people, to help other lurkers with a stock car make some decisions :) Please send me a PM if I'm doing something wrong here (picture size or whatever) and the obligatory "excuse my english" as it's not my native language

A picture from last year, when I bought it. It's a 2015 2.0L 224hp quattro with manual gear (yaay!!) on s-line suspension ("1BE" I belive the option code, or whatever it's called, is.. 20mm lower than stock?) and audi 9x20 ET29 wheels with 265/30 dunlop tyres.

A picture from yesterday, on H&R coilovers (the "low version" that lowers 30-60mm). The springs in the back are adjusted as high as they'll go, and the front is adjusted to match.

I sadly don't have a picture to show you better how the fitment is with the car lowered on these wheels because I mounted some 10.5x20 ET27 wheels with 275/30 tyres today (will post pictures of that when I've gotten around to taking some). But I can say that in the front it doesn't look too bad, and I could have lived with it. But I don't think you'll find many people who would think the rear looks good lowered on 9x20 ET29. The wheels just sit too far into the wheel wells. Most people would probably look at the car and think you'd bought the wrong size wheels. This wasn't that much of an issue when the car was on the s-line suspension, then it looked perfectly fine.

If you're wondering about the H&R coilovers: mounting them was pretty straight forward, except for the driver side front where an upper bolt is hidden under the wiring loom/ecu box and another under where you fill up the windshield washer fluid. In the rear you have to remove the inner fender lining to get to the upper bolts that hold the shock absorbers (it's not like a lot of other cars where you access them from the top in the trunk, so don't start taking the interior of the trunk out :)). To mount the front shocks there is the standard stupid solution where you have to insert a hexagonal (?) key in the top to keep the damper from spinning around, while at the same time you're supposed to tighten it with a socket from the top.... If you don't have the correct tool for it, you can yolo it with air tools and just a socket. I would, of course, suggest having the correct tools but.... you know

The suspension is noticeably stiffer with the H&R coils compared to the s-line suspension.

    Hi all,

I got the KW HAS installed yesterday on my 2014 a5 sportback.
The installer said there wasn't much room for adjustment in the back springs compared to front. As a result, the car was a fair bit lower at front compared to back, so he lifted front back up by 10mm.
Just wondering if anyone knows how much to expect the rear spring height to settle? I'm hoping it levels ours nicely.

After two days on the new springs I can say the back seems to have settled very sightly so far.
I am pretty happy overall with the product, if the back settles a little more I will be very pleased.
The ride quality is absolutely gorgeous, and that's coming from someone who came from 1be s-line suspension. I loved the feel of the s-line suspension and one of my biggest fears of installing aftermarket springs was losing the ride quality.
I can say the KW HAS feel nearly identical.
Here's a couple pics, the profile view was taken this morning after two days of settling. Rear view pic was taken yesterday morning just before my wife nearly tore the front bumper off by reversing out of the car spot dead straight .
Also had the ecs carbon diffuser fitted which I am digging (quad tips coming in the next week or two).

Thoughts on debadging the rear (minus the rings) and removing side quattro decals? I think it'll look cleaner. Attachment 18695020200710_110048.jpeg

    Solo-Werks S1 Coil-Overs

    * never a single problem with Solo-Werks coil-overs on either the Corrado or the S5. I was surprised how well they worked on our curvy back country roads up here in Northern California with the occasional asphalt separation and road grooves... I’m impressed at how good the lowered ride quality is with these economical brand of coil-overs. Very happy with this current set up. May go slightly wider with tires, once I commit to a new set of TSW‘s I am eyeballing...

    Loving the cars! 👌
Looking for advice on lowering my S5 b8.5 around 1.5 or 1.75 inch, could anyone let me know what would be best - coilovers or air (I dont intend to air out and tuck the tyres, it would be more for convenience if it's worth it)?

I've heard about the lowering springs being abit bouncy so not ideal because I'm looking to go for a flush 20x11 wheel setup, if coilovers what would be a good brand to get in the UK?

Hi all, I have stock 19x9 ET33 rotor wheels on my lowered (KW) sportback (100mm clearance) but am not happy with the stance, so seeking some guidance on spacers.

Looking at a few posts already I'm seeing a lot of coupes go for 20F/25R or 15F20R. Anyone know what is best for the sportback? I don't want the wheels to poke at all (parking) but I feel they are a bit lost in the arches atm. TIA

Advice on wheel size to go with my current suspension setup

Hey guys, after some advice please. I have a 2013 8F7 S-Line 2.0 TDi lowered on 40mm H&R springs still running the stock 19’s with 20mm rear spacers & 15 front.

I’m wanting to upgrade to 20” rims but not sure of the best set up with my current ride height. Will they fit without any rubbing issues etc?
From what I’ve read 20x10 with 275/30-20 tyres would be a good option but again, not sure if this would work with my current 40mm drop. Thank you in advance for any insight.

I have just measured my FTG height and they are 26” rear, 25.5” front if this helps
