Having trouble deciding between H&R OE and the Sport springs for a 2012 S5 4.2L.

I have the OEM 19" peelers on 20mm/25mm spacers, will the sport spring cause rubbing?

Are people still able to get over most speed bumps with the Sport springs, or are the OEs the definite way to go with spacers this large?

All opinions welcome, thanks.

I went with the coil overs...and am on 20's and have them lowered really tight. Speed bumps aren't an issue and rubs only when going to fast and hit a dip in the road.

I run the stock 19's in the winter and don't even raise the car.

Thanks for your input. So you're probably lowered more than the 1.2-1.3" average the sport springs provide?

Anyone able to share experience specifically with spacers as wide as I'm running on the sport springs?

Yeah...sorry...my summer wheels have back spacing to match those dimensions and I run those spacers with the stock wheels in the winter.

Hi Folks, looking for some advice if possible.

Fitted Bilstein b16 PSS10's to my Fl A5, dampers set at 6 all round, ( Scottish roads are terrible )my issue is: when the car has a full tank of fuel or luggage in the boot, the steering feels quite wooly and the car seems less planted to the road.

Anyone know how to cure this, I'm usually in the car myself or with one passenger, doesn't really make a difference though. Once the weight on the rear has gone the car returns to feeling fine.

Should I adjust the front or rear to make it a bit stiffer/softer?

Yes, you'll need to increase the damping with a fully loaded car. The Spring is under more preload with it being compressed so a little extra damping rate will help control the spring and bring back a better feeling car.

Just purchased a 2010 S5 w/Audi Drive Select. Looking to install H&R OE springs with DRA spacers. I have installed coilovers on my B6 S4 but the DRC system is new to me. Do I need to depressurize system or does a shop need to perform this install? Any info would be appreciated. thank you

Is anyone running koni shocks/struts with H&R sport springs? Looking for some feedback on ride quality. I recently bought sport springs from a board member and have been reading some post about people having buyers remorse after installing these with stock shocks. I prefer a set it and forget it set up of shocks and springs as I won't be adjusting the height or dampening once installed. Looking for a tight sporty ride and was wondering if the combination of the sport springs and koni's will provide that.
