Yah these brakes are huge on the RS5. What tires you thinking. 275/30/20. Kinda want some meat. Don’t want to roll on rubber bands.

    Hey guys

My tyres are fried and now its time for new set of shoes and rubber, I thought Il just double check regarding wheel fitment with the brain trust (you guys).

The car is fitted with the factory Carbon ceramic brake option, thus my concern.... its bloody massive.

Im looking at one the following wheels, thoughts?

    Rohana RFX10
    Vertini Magic
    Forgestar RF14
    BC Forged HB04

Thanks for your input in advance.

Here are some pictures of the current fitment, thought they would help determine what would fit.

Just make sure the wheels are made to clear Huge brakes. as per BC or Forgestar, if you are ordering brand new then just tell them so they can build the wheel to your specs. I currently run BC HB09's and they were specifically made for an RS5 so they clear the massive 8 piston calipers. Hope this helps.

Highly recommend BC Forged as they seem a clear cut above the other brands you mention in terms of quality and they're more than willing to work with you to get the specs perfect - contact MOPS at Nemesis as he was great at helping me re-work the specs of mine until I got the exact concavity I wanted.

What's up guys? Lug bolt question. About to throw on VFF103's they'll be 275/10/30.... 5 mm spacers in the back, 3mm in the front. Guy at ECS emailed me a link to a 33 millimeter long to bolt, seems like that would be too short, no expert here but don't want issues on install, I'm getting the car lowered as well so want everything to be right.

So does 33mm length seem right? Thanks.

Thanks man, I ended up going with a local wheel supplier, they are semi forged wheels so its pretty light. The spec I ended up going for are 20" x 10.5 +25 and I will be running the 275/30/20 tyres.

The wheels I got was specifically made for the RS5 so they assured me it will clear the 8 piston brake calipers. I shall post pictures when its on there.

    Thanks guys

    Hey man

Yeah the guys was very helpful and seem to know what they are doing, but the shipping to Australia just make them a touch out of my budget. The guys I ended up going with can custom drill the PCD and do custom offset as well so they seem to be a good choice for now.

    Thanks for the advice.

Love this setup, would like to do something similar with M590s. Do you think it would fit with 285/30r20s? Id like a little extra rubber on our rough roads but dont want any rubbing. Looked through this thread but couldnt find an answer with this exact offset. Thanks

I just got a 2009 Ice Silver Metallic S5. Any suggestions on what I should run setup wise? I really like the look of the Aristo Sport Y5's or the Avant Garde M580. I'm kinda new to making my car lower to the ground (last car I modified was a lifted jeep). Everything helps. Oh and here is a cruddy photo of my car. I am gonna get a better one soon once I get the chance.

Get whatever wheels you like is the first suggestion! (I know, cliche.) As long as they aren't cheap eBay/unsafe wheels. Also, since it's an AWD vehicle, don't run a staggered set up. Stay squared up. I believe some people have fitted wheels as large as 20"x11" without any rubbing, using the correct offset.

    Ice S5 Congrats!

I'm very familiar with the platform. Shoot me an email if you'd like, and I'd be happy to assist. I ran 10-12 wheel sets on mine. Skip to page 6...

    Hey guys...

Here is mine with MBdesign KV1 in 9x20 with 245/30/20.
The wheels are probably the most driven on an A5 in Germany or Austria! ;) But i still think that they fit perfectly on the A5 !

    Best regards Markus

An APR Stage II Audi S5 Sportback, the Hellenic Air Force F-16 fighter jet and Vossen Wheels. Talk about a deadly combination! Our friends at APR Greece (@aprgreece) produced this epic footage of the two meeting one another, then a flat out run to nearly 300 kilometers (about 188mph) in the S5. This is one exciting video and big thanks to APR Greece for sharing!

some say 40mm is too low.....some say 35mm is too low, then ive heard my car is 20mm lower from factory so if i use 40mm h&r sport springs,im only going to get 20mm drop.

I have seen many tire suggestions for a 20x10” et 25 wheel and I can’t decide what will look better on an aggressively lowered car. I saw a few examples of 275 that looks good, but with how low I am I am leaning towards 255/30 or a 265/30.

    Cool Rohana RC7, tucking 20x11

At long last... after getting them imported from USA to the UK back in January, my Rohana RC7s finally got fitted!!!

Big shout out to Mops and BKNewtype for advice and inspiration (not quite sure how to tag'em...?)... and also an awesome guy on Insta called Audihere26 for some great fitment advice and showing me that you can bag and tuck 20x11s, or at least do the much coveted rim sitting on lip thing that the kids rave about these days... :)

My goal was to get the most insane concave possible without getting a widebody kit. Pics don't do the concave justice IMHO.

It's a bagged modded 2012 Audi A5 Sportback (don't think you can get a B8 sportback in the USA?)
    Rohana RC7 20x11 et28 matte graphite
Square setup all round (weird saying that hahaha! :) )
    275 30 20 Falken FK510s

Centre wheel hub caps didn't fit as the centre hub sticks out too much, so Rohana are kindly sending me replacement taller caps.

Had a full-on detail with multi-stage correction with Kamikaze Miyabi and ISM coatings at Offset Detailing, Essex, UK, few more fitment shots:

^^^ Saw a few of those pics on IG. Looks awesome. Those sportbacks are gorgeous when modded.
