Hi guys. My 1 day old new to me 2013 S5 with 33k miles. The car is fully loaded and has ADS, Sports Diff, B&O, you name it.
Honestly I love the car as is and the only mod on the immediate horizon are some 20%> tint. Cant stand cars without tints.

Live in New Hampshire.
Came out of a 2015 S3 on lease (which I enjoyed). Saw this car and fell in love with it. Had an '09 A5 3.2 which I liked but really always wanted an S5.
Picked up a 2016 S5 Prestige with a 6 speed. Very excited to have a manual again.
Looking forward to modding out drive train. So far have only swapped out the grill for RS5 style.

Haven't been active for a long while. Last time I posted I think was in 2013 when I posted photos of my then new A4 B8.5. Last October, I swapped it for an A5 Coupe after tossing a lot between the B8 and B9 options. Ended up with choosing B8 as I thought it'll be always a classic look.

Anyways, although a bit late, here's my MY16 A5 Coupe 2.0T S Line Plus in Daytona Grey. Everything is stock! But man, I do love its Gen III 2.0T engine.

Anyone come to an RS5 from a 911? I suspect a bunch of folks go the other way :)

Traded a 2011 Carrera GTS for a 2014 RS5. The RS5 is nowhere near as raw and engaging as the 911, much more of a luxury car, but loving it so far. The Porsche was sublime on the track and back roads, but so damn impractical compared to the RS5, and with two kids it just wasn't working out. Seattle folks, if you're looking for a 997.2 generation GTS, this one will be for sale at Porsche Bellevue pretty soon.

Paid about $48k for a 2014 CPO RS5, 31k miles, well optioned.

Greetings from Detroit, Michigan, where I am set to receive my 2013 S5 from Orlando this weekend. It's my first Audi. Super psyched to get behind the wheel and back into a manual transmission.



I initially searched the Detroit, Chicago and Cleveland areas. Got a bit frustrated finding what I was looking for until I expanded my search to country-wide. I got a pretty good deal (I think) from a Jaguar dealer in Orlando. $31,800. Car has 34,200 miles.

Options include Phantom Black pearl effect, MMI, Nappa leather, B&O sound, 19 inch wheels, carbon Atlas inlays and Supercharged badges. I wanted a Prestige to get the adaptive headlights, but this car seemed to be a bargain and had better miles than the other cars I could find closer to home.

Since I gave up my 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible (great car), I have been missing driving a manual.

Called a few Audi dealers around me, and they would not sell me a Audi Pure Protection plan because the original manufacturer's warranty was expired. I called a few more dealers and Audi of America and discovered that there is no such restriction. So, I bought the 3 year/36000 plan from the Audi South Orlando dealer. Price was $2952.

Once it gets here, will need to equip it with 18 inch wheels and winter tires in a few months. That will tap out the budget for a while, so I don't have any planned mods for a while.

Hello from New Jersey everyone. I've had my 2013 A5 over a year now but brand new to the forum.

I've got the 2.0T TFSI in brilliant black. I'm starting to do some performance modifications while not going crazy because it is my daily driver. I've got the APR Stage II tune, APR Downpipe, and AWE Touring Cat-back Exhaust. In the spring I'll be getting new wheels, (I think I've decided on TSW Sprints in gunmetal, but I've got time) along with summer tires, still trying to decide on suspension, and will probably get the APR intake soon.

Hi! I'm Phil and this is my first Audi, it's an '11 S5 4.2 and when I bought it 3 weeks ago it had less than 22,000 miles on it.

So far I've ordered and received the 034 intake hose and their drivetrain insert package, the JHM light-weight crank pulley and the Carbon Imports v1 deck spoiler and side mirror covers. My Wix air filter should arrive within the next week. I'm looking to get the Magnaflow tunable muffler or glass-pack next, not sure which to go with. Suggestions?

After that I'll think about wheels and a tune while I wait for next year's driving season.

I'm Keith from NNJ and I picked up my first Audi in April of this year. I've always liked Audi cars especially when the TT first launched. I got to ride in an R8 last year and loved it. IT was only a matter of time, but which one?? The A5/S5 body style is so eye catching it's almost sublime. I haven't been able to shake the mod bug for years/decades so when I found out what could be done with this platform it was just a matter of time. After scouring several online auto sales sites for months then test driving a couple S5s I fell for this baby. I couldn't walk away. I wasn't sure if I could live with a DSG - yes I know they shift faster than humanly possible but I'm glad I held out for the 6MT.

So far I have added a Stasis RSB, Megan endlinks, CR15 brace, ECS Tuning SS brake lines, Hawk 5.0 pads, Motul 660 fluid and just installed the 034 Motorsport X-Brace weekend before last. The car handles so much better now. I've done one AutoX and Waterfest this summer and had a blast! Even boiled my clutch brake fluids.
Future plans include some non droning exhaust TBD, coilovers probably KWs, intake, wheels & wider tires. OF course a tune eventually.

A 2012 S5 in Monsoon Gray with Magma Red inside. It has been taken care of really well from what I can see and has 36,000 Miles.

My wife named her "side chick" since i spend more time with the car than her. Currently I've added 20x10 Nichè wheels on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, 20% ceramic tint, RS5 grill, Neuspeed P-module, GVB diverter valve, K&N intake and Becker exhaust. Still undecided on suspension as it is next.

Hey all,

A couple weeks ago I brought home to Longmont, CO a beauty of a black cat RS 5.
It's a 2013 in Panther Black crystal and came with 20", Titanium, MMI+, sport exhaust, (and the best and most needed option) the power rear window sunshade (lol).

I pulled the front license plate holder. When I get registered I have tow hook plate holder. Leaving it all off until I have to put the plates on.
Sunday I put on winter shoes. I sized down to 18" inexpensive Motegi wheels with 245/45 X-ice 3s. I like the compliance of the tire but I'm not sure about how light the steering is now in Comfort mode. I may have to setup Individual with Comfort settings apart from the steering to make it a little heavier.
Weathertech mats arrive today.

I need a buffer, bad. Got rid of mine in a move years ago, when we downsized to a single vehicle.
Soon I'll stop by Adam's for some products. My wife worked there a couple years ago. (Have any of you seen his beast of a box truck? He let us use it to move.)

Planned mods:
The dealer badge is coming off sometime this week. (The reason I need a buffer)
I'm actually considering debadging the whole thing. Possibly leaving the grille and replacing with blackouts or dipping the chrome "RS 5" in black and leaving the red Audi Sport block. And at least dip the rings if they're not removed.

Since I tend to hop from vehicle to vehicle I was given a waiting period before I can start doing any heavy mods. I always seem to lose money on the deal. :-)
But, when the time comes this is what I'd like to do, in no particular order:
Ecodes (duh)
Wheels (If I could get the PO past my bookkeeper I'd definitely go for a set of the 102s in satin black that Mops has right now. But this will probably have to wait until spring when I'll need some new summer shoes.)

That's about as creative as I am right now.

There are a few paint spots that need to be worked out but I think it should shine up nicely, given a weekend of hard labor.

It's nice to be back in the Audi fold. I had an '08 TT 3.2 S-line a few years ago, sold it to the dealer after one of their lot attendants took off the driver side mirror on a truck (which went on the title).

Thanks man, Specs on the wheels are 20x10 +38 with a 20mm spacer all round.

I spent alot of time measuring and aligning the suspension after the H&R sport spring install. I had the rear camber adjusted (factory adjustable) to as little negative camber as i could go. And this allowed the use of 20mm spacers all round to look like this. I'm basically in the realm of -1.5 all round.

I have seen alot of people use a 15mm front and 20mm rear spacer, i assume to get the rear as flush as possible, but by adjusting the camber i went 20mm all round, achieved the flushness both front and rear and now also will get better tyre wear as well.
