Honestly not sure. The car is preowned and came with the tint already done. I think it's the same as my last car which was one step past legal. Just glad it's already done and is dark so I don't have to redo it.

Hi the A5 looks great!.. How do you like the A5 vs the S4? I see you also had a mk7R, wanted a R but settled on 16 GTI SE PP because of no sunroof and availability.
Looking to seriously move on to B8.5 S4 or S5 and want to do it right and own more long term..lol . Single and No kids my only utility need is carrying my mountain bike. Anything you like better about the A5/S5 than looks? If we had the S5 sportback I'd already have one, could go either 2 or 4 door but not a huge fan of the B8.5 headlights, the S5's are so much more agressive. I initially thought the S3 was a good progression but feel I would grow out of it quick and performance may be same as the B8.5 but b8.5 feel so much more raw with that response and exhaust. Thanks for any insight!

We get the S5 SB later this year :) I had a '15 GTI S 6MT. Loved that car! Recently traded for a '17 S3.

Lol yeah I've seen you in pretty much every thead! GTI then Sq5 then S3 and also A5.. you have great taste and all builds are very tastful. Your new S3 is nearly what I was trying to get 1-2 months ago, was told I needed to special order and delivery Eta was april! My issue was all s3's dealer have on build order are coming with $3k Tech pack(virtual cockpit) which blows out the price point with my must have options:
P+, Ara blue or glacier, black dynamic, b&o, SS Seats = ~48800 -10% negot= $44k and attractive price point, can't stomach 50k on a s3. You can get a ~10k mileage loaded 2015-16 S5 for $45k!
I liked the S3 but felt much slower than my Jb1 Mk7 GTI manual.
The new S5 that will be a SB has an awful front end, lower hood line, grill doesn't look proportional and the tesla headlights are the worst! The rest is great, I could deal with the new engine but after 6 of my 8 cars being manual the only auto I want is a dsg for my daily.

Never tracked a car yet but drive hilly twisty back roads on my 20 min commute, want 1 car that's fun to drive yet comfortable as a daily, looks much better than the GTI and is still good
/fun in Michigan's 4+ months of snow, and can haul a bike(1up hitch rack or roof rack). Asking a lot.. The GTI was a German gate way drug making me want more! Lol

Hello Folks!

New Audi owner in Texas. I just purchased a 2013 RS5 in Sepang Blue Pearl, CPO, 24K miles on the clock.

I've always been more of an "American Muscle" kind of guy; the car I replaced with the RS5 was a V8 2015 Dodge Charger in B5 Blue (I like blue cars). About a year ago we replaced my wife's 2002 Toyota Highlander with a 2015 GTI Autobahn w/ Performance Pack. After driving that car occasionally over the past year, I decided that when it came time to upgrade I'd look at VAG vehicles.

My wife and I are just getting into autocross, and we've both got a HPDE track day scheduled in March. I'm an engineer by trade but never really knew anything about cars from a mechanical perspective until I started to get interested a couple of years ago. Looking forward to learning from y'all!

- MTM-optimizing, non-speedlimiter.
- Capristo Exhaust: Cruise/Sport/Full Sport Mode.
- Red carbonfibre cold air intake by Eventuri.
- KW variant 3 coilovers.
- Customized Cargraphic wheels - 20”x9,5 with Michelin Pilot Sport.
- Alcantara package.
- Xpel film.

New engine at 82k. 9k after that.

Future Mods:
Plan is to keep it simple; Its almost perfect IMO. Thinking swapping the wheels with some S1 3P from Works. Adding some more carbonfibre parts both inside and outside. Other than that, keeping the maintance costs up!
Biggest would be painting it in the famouse Tornado red.

I dont know if i ever introduced myself. But, hello, I'm Brandon. I live in Dallas and ive had my 2015 S5 since last June. Im in and out of country so much that i havent had much time to mod. But, im looking forward to doing a few basic things.

Grille, fog light grills, spacers. Then intake, maybe a recommended tune, stuff like that.

Thanks! I'll look into that ECS intake. LoL, believe it or not, I'm having a helluva time deciding on which grill to get. Theres so much debate on which one has emblems that stick out too far, which has more combs... etc. I almost regret getting an S5 and think I should have looked for an RS...lol. But, my s5 was a steal. A 2015 with only 7k miles on it... couldn't pass it up.

I had been searching for an RS5 for about a year and finally found one in my price range and with all the features I wanted. I flew down to San Antonio, TX on Feb 27, 2017 and picked it up!

Drove the 2000mi home to Washington and enjoyed every mile of it. The car blew me away and was better than what I was expecting!!

Lol, I flew to Dallas from Tacoma, WA to get my S5. Got a speeding ticket on the way back too. Oh and I too previously owned mklV SupraTT. So much in common!
