Hey All.

Figured I should introduce myself.

This past Saturday I picked up my new car. It's a 2014 Audi S5 Technik.

It came with the sport diff, adaptive suspension, and the aluminum/black beaufort inlay, B&O stereo, etc.. It's a sharp looking car. I got it CPO with 4060km on it. It belonged to the wife of the GM/Owner of the Audi dealership I bought it from. Being that it was a CPO car I saved roughly $10k from brand new and it has a 6yr/160k warranty so I'm alright with my purchase for a long while.

I wasn't keen on the pull-me-over Misano Red Pearl but I'll live with it not being either white or black (sorry guys, but I like a bit of colour). All is forgiven with the engine that pulls like a freight train and the 7sp S-tronic that shifts so smoothly it's like butter. Even in sport mode the paddle shifting is pretty damn cool. I had the front end fully 3m'd including the headlights and also got 30% tint done all around.



If you look closely you can see my old Spec-V in the background that I bought brand new. Quite the upgrade I'll say, like woah, this is what the 21st century car is like. LOL. My wife's 09 XT has basically zero tech so she's definitely jealous.





The interior is sick. Love the pinstripe look of the inlay.






I was surprised that the sunroof isn't much more than a big window that let's a tiny bit of fresh air in.





The grocery bag holder is genius...yes I've been stuck under a rock for the past 12 years. :D





I totally love this car and see why guys go for the Audi S car's. They are wicked!

Good day to you all. My name is Shep, currently reside in Louisiana just NW of Baton Rouge. I've recently ordered an Audi A5 and expected delivery is the last week of August. I was able to get an update on the manufacturing process but they say the updates are limited (Com#DA6430). As far as I know the car should be out of manufacturing by now. According to the dealer is will be classified as a 2015 year model. After enduring the 6 months from being in the ACNA I was able to walk into the dealer, with a print out of what I wanted and my ACNA letter stating what I was going to pay for the car it made that experience quite pleasing. The dealer was a little surprised and even asked me to look at his lot to which I quickly said, "NO, this is what I want!". Now on to the goodies...

Now just trying to source the HMS x-pipe. So far best shipping price $1,220.00.
So far, over here, I've only seen 1 S5 and 0 RS5's. So forums like this are great for me to hear and chat to fellow fans.
Prob why I ramble a bit. lol

Hey mate, there's a few other guys on the other side of your country in Sydney with S5's and RS5. One of the guys in Sydney has actually stuck a supercharger on his black RS5 and completely de-catted the thing with the most awesome looking headers imaginable. Obviously, Audi go and stick the RS5 cat's directly onto the exhaust manifold, so to get rid of them, it's a complete engine drop. Fortunately, the cat's on the S5 are bolted on, so much easier to remove.

I actually know all about the rivalry between Holden and Ford, I used to live in Auckland for a few years. I was a big Holden fan actually. My ex-boss used to have a Holden SS, previous shape to the current shape. He redid the entire engine to 6.2L and stuck a supercharger on it to boot. I drove the car a few times, she was one crazy, rear wheel drive, drifting around corners machine. I stopped driving it when my ex-boss got her up to 750bhp and 1300NM on the dyno. My boss eventually sold it, said it would probably kill him in the end.

Hi all, just picked up a 2014 Ibis White S5. It's a Premium Plus S-Tronic with sports diff, navigation, side assist, and carbon trim. I traded in my 2014 Q7 Prestige S-Line Plus for it since I bought an Xterra for camping and hauling my dog. I'm loving the car and trying to plan out mods.
