DTM front bumper, part number,US or EU version??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Im about to do a DTM front conversion and while getting ready to order parts from gap.com I realized that the part number which is always listed on the forums, 8E0-807-105-AA-GRU, is described by gap.com as an s4 bumper. That is confusing me. I don't want to get an s bumper, I want the DTM!

Also, is there such a thing as a US DTM version that includes spots for reflectors? I know the one ECS sells as the european version doesn't, and Im hoping the gap.com version doesn't either.

There's the 25th Anniversary addition rear bumper which looks pretty much identical to the DTM but the anniversary bumper has side reflectors. Completely different part numbers see below.

    Euro B7 A4 DTM: Mfg Part# 8E5807303DGRUKT
    25th Anniversary: Mfg Part# 8E5807303LGRUKT

The DTM is the "common" name for the S4 25th Anniversary (DTM Package).
The DTM bumper is an S4 bumper.
EU and US difference is that the US has sidemarker reflector slots, and the EU doesn't.

8E0-807-105-AA-GRU is the correct part number for the US DTM ("S4 25th Anniversary") bumper that you are seeking for. (this is the one I have - and yes I used that part number as well)

However for the rear bumper there are probably 4 part numbers
    US - Dual Exhaust
    US - Quad Exhaust
    EU - Dual
    EU - Quad

Thanks for the responses guys. I am still a little confused though, but i figured something out. I always thought DTMs were euro only, and was 'corrected' in another thread. I guess the truth is that who ever has a 'dtm' style car in the US has the 25AE S4 bumper with the reflectors, while the actual DTM has none and is limited to those 250 in EU.

I would really prefer to get the actually European style DTM bumper with no reflectors, but gap.com only sells the US S4 one. The ECS euro front costs 810, vs only 480 for the US one at gap.com. I can't justify spending 310 extra bucks just to have the spaces for reflectors filled, so I guess Ill get the reflectors color matched, unless...someone can't tell me where to get a real euro front for less than ECS.

btw-anyone have the part numbers for those reflectors? I think s-line and non s-line ones are the same, right?

that do you mean 'shaved'? It was my impression that the US version had an indented spot where as reflector is applied, and those can be painted to blend into factory paint.

This is true. But he what he's saying by "shaving" them is by having a body shop fill in the holes so they are no longer there. Then have it painted.

thanks jason. Thats fine then because the shop is gonna have to bondo and fill around the washer covers anyways. Those 2 things I think I'm gonna have to pay out of pocket though, so I wonder how much they will get me for.

And on a similar note: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...A4-Edition-DTM Euro A4's that had the DTM option also received Recaro's?!? Whut!!!!

If you know anybody that does body work have then shave the reflectors off, good choice on on the DTM. Its a beautiful bumper.

I wish there was more of an aftermarket when it comes to body parts for this car, similar to bmws. Replica DTM, s4 and rs4 kits with good fitment and good prices. Companies would make a killing

I just wanted to check if anyone had fitment issues with their rear dtm bumper coming from a non sline? My DTm rear has always flared out just slightly at the tips. I was surfing parts diagrams tonight and noted that there are two "guides" or bumper brackets, one for air intakes and one without air intakes. Think I'll order these next week and see if they fix the issue.

Shop said they had to grind a bracket down slightly to get mine to fit when I had mine installed

Hmm then I guess my shop never even ordered the right parts, pretty sure I'm still on the original brackets. Gonna have to call them and replace them
