    R8 wheels on A4???

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Folks,

    I'm considering some R8 wheels.

The size I'm look at would be 18x8 ET47 on stock B8 A4 suspension.

I found a 5 pair Hartmann set for under $750 (used of course). The question is how would this look on a silver audi with stock suspension.

Any advice or pics would be very helpful and gladly appreciated.

    Thanks!!!

Depends on which R8 wheels. I'm a fan of the 2012 R8 GT wheels that they show on the Audi website.

I think the regular R8 wheels, the double spoke 5 arm wheels look great, also.

Modifications: Parents ran out of money so they bought me tires that were way too small for my wheels.

great looking wheel but 18x8 et 47 might look a bit weenie. I'd keep looking. Do you not want to go 19s or were these just a great deal?

No sports package etc? Looks pretty tight..

I looking at new wheels but I do not want to change any suspension etc. so i'm looking at 18" S4 or Sport Rims. I'm staying away from19"s to avoid the 4x4 look but your pulling it off ...somewhat :P

Yeah that's why I was hesitant to buy them. I'm just going to wait and do it right when some other set pops up for sale.

I'm sticking with 18s. I feel like the 19s will really affect my ride. I'm sure it will be minor but I'm set on 18s for now. :)

Well, I haven't completed this setup yet. These wheels are from my B6 A4 and my H&R Spacers from that car don't fit on the B8. So I'm ordering new ones...There is definitely a huge stance difference between the B6 and B8. I can't believe how much these wheels sit inside the fender (front especially.)
