Interior lights will not throw codes. License plate lights shouldn't either, they have built in resistors.

My Ziza license plates came in yesterday and they worked perfectly on my B7 S4. I did have to trim the foam around the edge though.

I have the entire ked interior kit installed and I can attest - it's badass. It's like 12 noon in my car at 9pm...ridiculously clean, bright, light.

Why should anyone choose this kit over other kits that make the same claims and provide the same screen shots but cost half as much?

LOL ^^^^ I agree , 160$ seems like quite alot to me compared to others...And I don't wanna hear you get what you pay for lol....Only people who overprice their shit say that to make you feel bad for buying the same thing at a lower price somewhere else, it's a very good technique.

Has anyone with the Ziza license plate HOUSINGS actually monitored them? I installed them 2 days ago, and they've been either completely out, barely on, or on (any combination of those 3 on either side) almost every time I start the car. And with the resisters, they won't tell you that they're out (either that or they're fucked internally). ZERO problems with stock lighting, so I wasn't sure if maybe I just got a bad batch, or...?

I get a license plate light code almost everytime I start my car now, although the Ziza / ECS bulbs appear to be working.

I also bought the interior bulbs last winter. ECS appears to have sent me a bunch of the wrong bulbs. I meant to reconcile all of this and try and see what they will do (I'll get around to it) but got swamped with life....

I've been running the LED license plate housings from ECS for over 5 months now and have not had any issues at all, other than an error code for a bad resistor on the passenger side. Immediately contacted ECS and they fully refunded my order. :)

I wouldn't doubt that at all. I've dealt with ECS for years, and Have always been pleased. I'm just curious about the license plate housings. There are a few things I'll have to troubleshoot, but if there's no luck, I'll contact ECS about it.

^Yo, these are the ones I have: http://www.pyspeed.com/Racing-Dash-A.../dash-8007.htm No error codes, problems, etc.

This is all assuming you want spotlights on the rear of your car like I do.

If you are having problems w/ license plate (I did initially), try bending the metal tabs upward to make proper contact.
Maybe even a dab of dielectric grease for good measure.

You get what you pay for...maybe not worth $160 but still. I got interior lights for a little less than half that and they sucked - flickered non stop etc..

interesting, after going to school for marketing ive never heard of this tactic. You do get what you pay for. These lights dont flicker, they are bright white not a blue haze or some off color. they price the kit that high because it doesnt throw codes and it doesnt flicker. No one makes anyone feel bad for buying something cheaper. Not a technique at all. If it is then i guess you got duped because you bought and audi and not a hyundai.

Just an FYI, interior lights will never throw a code as the ECU doesn't monitor interior lighting.

You'll be amazed the stuff you'll learn on the job that they didn't teach you in school.
