Mind the P&S camera and dirt just back from a long road trip with lots of rain.

Rear tire fitment with 12.5mm spacers on 235/40r18

Once again with the P&S Camera

I did not realize how bad the plasti-dip looks on camera. Time to strip them for the Summer season.

I have those springs with Bilstein shocks, and i love the ride/handling. In my case they dropped more in the rear than the front. Depending on how my new shoes fit (waiting til spring to put them on) I will either be ordering the ECS coilover kit for the front, or getting spring spacers made for the rear.
BT/BAT build threads make me happy I have a stock turbo

I think the S.Tech's have been reviewed a few times already. I am actually curious as to the drop and ride of the H.Tech Springs on sport suspension.

Tein S-techs + Bilstein sports = But seriously tein s techs give a great drop for the price. $170 shipped off Fleabay.

Hmm... this is interesting. My Neuspeed Race springs are supposed to be an even 2" drop all the way around, and based on the pictures provided I'd say I'm just as low if not lower then the cars shown. Someone is fudging numbers at NS or Tein haha. I need lowering caps^!! I hate my rake.

Why not go for the Bilstein Coilovers? not that much more ;-) but a clear Boss's choice!

Last I checked H.Techs were more expensive and have a much more mild drop that would leave you wanting moar low.

I think Neuspeed is actually the lowest from what a lot of people say around here. One measurement IS off.

Not to thread jack or anything, but I've been considering tein for a while. Anybody know if it's worth it to switch from eibach pro kit springs to tein s-tech? The drop is pretty mild right now and I don't really mind where it's sitting, but I would prefer it a tiny bit lower, but don't want an over-comprimised ride. Any thoughts?

Also, I'm on Bilstein sport shocks. Sorry for the semi thread jack.

Yeah something is fishy. I think NS Race is the lowest too. My car is pretty low for just springs. I've had idiots ask me if its on air ride before LOL.

Air ride is what I really want, but I need a mild drop for now. When I get my 19s on this summer, I don't want to be 4x4-ing.

Something where I get rid of the wheel gap, but not dumped in the weeds. I already have to replace alot of plastic parts, liners and such that got torn up from the snow this winter.

Eibach or the Tien H.Techs might be what I'm looking for. I'm leaning more toward Eibach, but I like the fact that the H.Techs are designed to be matched with stock shocks.

I'd like to compare the Tien S.Tech and the Tien H.Tech side by side.

Yeah Air Ride is my ultimate goal as well. I just need to pay my car off first. And yes Calvin! Drop before wheels ALWAYS. Especially since you can lower these cars for ~300$. I have no issues with my NS Race setup but it's pretty low. As far as liners, I still have my fronts in, but the rears have been gone for years. Like I said, if I make a trip up there before you get your wheels on you can ride around in my car and figure out if you like it.

Unfortunately, I think the wheels will be on before she gets dropped. I gotta get off these winter tires so the dry pavement doesn't chew em up.

Yeah something is fishy for sure. Not hating Soldier, I'm just saying, I'm tucking tire in the back. Either Tein is fibbing or Neuspeed is.

Edit: Unless you JUST installed these and they haven't settled yet. In which case, In4Pictures.

They are freshly installed, not even 1 day on them so they are new, I', hoping they will settle a little lower, and yes i have cut the bump stops in the front just as the instructions requested.

To me it feels mostly the same as the stock usp suspension. It still has that firm sporty feel.

Do you have any spacers or is that just the normal et33 offset? on the 710's?

that is just the normal et33 that they came in with no spacers. but i believe VMR does not make them anymore like that. not 100% sure...

It was a really smooth ride. Rubbed in the rear wheel well a bit with 4 ppl in the car at times and through some tight turns. I drive a bit more "spirited" so that is why I went with slightly stiffer setup. Also to get my parents off my back.."why is your car so low?! You're going to break something!" and the constant walk-a-around by my dad before he gets in *sigh* But for daily cruisin and driving to school and work... it was good

Are you kidding? That's ridiculous. Tell him he can walk-around his butt straight to his destination...

Clueless people give me a headache...

Why is your car so low?
Why do you have that exhaust?
The speed limit is 60. Why do you want to make your car faster?

Because I like it. Why do you like the music you listen to? Why do you watch the TV shows you watch? OMG...
