    Brakeperformance.com Rotors and Pads review

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Recently I have installed these

    http://brakeperformance.com/brake-ro...ake-Rotors.php

    The "Premium Replacement Brake Rotors"

    On my '03 A4Q

and the same rotors and these pads

    The "Premium Ceramic Brake Pads"

    http://brakeperformance.com/brake-pa...Brake-Pads.php

    On my Dad's A6Q.

The rotors are very very high quality and have a black linex like coatings on the parts of the rotor that normally rust. They look awesome.

Just got the pads on last week and so far he says the dust is almost non existent and the stopping power feels really great. We both highly recommend either one. Let me know if you have any questions!!

"Important note: Ceramic Brake Pads are NOT recommended for medium duty to heavy duty cars, truck, SUV's performance and European vehicles" LOL... why did they sell you them?

Weird. Why would the pads be unsuitable for European cars, and SUVs? It does say Meadium-Heavy duty. Does that meal like midsize cars and up?

I am not sure why it says that. But I can attest to them working great no problems

I've got the same rotors on my B5 S4, but the slotted version. After 5 track events and 2 autocross events they are still good as new! I have the black zinc coating which hasn't rusted yet so that's a plus. No warping and they have a warranty if that happens. Yay!

I believe they don't recommend the ceramics because ceramics are more likely to be noisy when paired with a heavy car.

Anyway, they were great with customer service and I gave me a forum discount code if anyone wants it, just PM me.

i'm assuming those prices are for both rotors? and same for the pads section? if so, these are incredibly cheap in price.

Brakeperformance customer service sucks. We got their "Premium" kit for our FX35... it squeaks and took forever to bed the pads. I also have a set of rears for my B6 A4, i'm not a fan at all. Stay with OEM rotors guy's.

hhmmm... are you talking about the pads or the rotors themselves? on the rear rotors did you get the plain ones or the x-drilled ones? what are you not a fan of specifically? thanks

Did you make sure you heavily coated the rear of the pads with stop squeal brake grease?

The ironic thing is, when I had Brembo blanks with Hawk Pads, they squeaked like a bitch. I've had better luck with these rotors. Make sure you apply anti-squeal on the backing plates as that can make a difference too. I have yet to really find anything I don't like about them, even after track days.
