anyone else hear of the German company called KER Innovatec? Looks like that make a conversion replica rs4 kit that isnt crazy expensive...about 2400USD for the kit in fiberglass that comes with just about everything but shipping...

anyone with any experiences with this?

Someone should order a set, install the body parts, have the car painted and then let all of us know how fitment is. Looks like the best looking replica out there.

i imported a bunch of their early quatto/sport quattro parts and they have good stuff. Shipping will likely increase that cost significantly.

    fiberglass?

I know that it's cheaper, but in this case, with all the work and paint going into it, do you really want to go fiberglass?

I have seen some amazing pieces in fiber glass. It all comes down to the manufacturer, I feel that fiberglass is a good alternative if its done right

So ballpark for this kit is $2600-$3000 compared to the $10,000-$12,000 you would spend for an OEM kit.

Would the fiberglass kit be easier to install?

Due to the nature of GFRP, I'd probably roll with the glass body panels and get OEM bumpers. It won't take long for a glass bumper to crack and look like ass.

The only truly outrageous prices for the RS4 panels are the rear 1/4's, those alone are half of the 10+ grand cost. There's also alot missing in the KER kit.

You won't have to weld anything which could be good or bad. It's certainly not a DIY job.

How are these different then the Seidl? Looks to be the same kit as Seidl offers, besides the rear bumper?

Under the b5 RS4 link it says A4.... anyone know is that front bumper would fit well on a s4 with rolled out fenders? My OEM RS4 bumper is cracked and done for :-(

It looks to be fiberglass. The Seidl now uses plastic, far more durable and can be heated to fit the stock car.

Comments about the Seidl kit in the past have been that its really wide, and the rear fenders don't mesh well. They are most definitely different.

Here is a comparison, as our Time Attack B5 uses the Seidl rear arches.

I already have the fender/quarter pieces done - but need to finish the molds on them. I spoke briefly to Max@034 about them - and they may be offered through them in the future.

As I've been really busy with other things, there hasn't been a lot of time on getting these molded up.

Keep in mind bringing anything in from overseas will require significant freight costs + broker fees + duties + yadda yadda.

Keep on the look out in the next couple of months.

Not that a Nogaro widebody wouldn't be sick, but why would you go with an OEM color if you're dropping the change to paint the car?

I'd go with a custom color - something that not many [or any] guys have, because then your car will literally be one of a kind. That's just my opinion... but it's your car. Good luck with the rest of the build.

As for the widebody kit... It does look promising. Although like Scotty said, I'd probably go with OEM bumpers and use fiberglass for the rest of the kit. I think the fenders and quarter panels would hold up fine, but I sincerely doubt that those bumpers would take much abuse.

Looks just like siedl which everyone has been aware of for a while. THe cost associated with the rs4 conversion is in the quarters, doors, bumpers, inner fenders, liners, grills, fogs, brackets etc... It's in the accessories. If you want a bare bones panel kit you can get it for about 7k give or take.

That just DOES NOT LOOK right. For one the red car needs much wider tires. But the flares just don't flow good with the lines of the B5...

That white car is actually for sale at the moment over here in the Uk. He is claiming its full geniune RS4 panels. What a dick. You can see its all fibreglass and just doesnt look right at all. For one they are prefacelift doors so the arch had to have been grafted on there. It did sell for about £1000 gbp though so would make a good project car

I personally like the Seidl better. I like the wider look.

So based on my understanding there is no company that sells Seidl kit in the US? And no US company is making this? That's weird because I think there's a market for it.
