    Perfect replacement screw for license plate light assembly

    I took my old screws to Lowe's ... rooted around and found these. The heads fit perfect within the light cover housing.. no issues.. and if you strip the heads, you've got a ton more.

    No problem. I know in the past people were having a hard time finding screws that fit correctly. I'm glad I picked these up because I don't know how many screws I stripped messing around with LED bulbs.. finally got a set that works.. (no codes) and.. screws that fit tight and flush.

    I think everybody has probably stripped those stupid screws. Good job finding replacements.

    Ah, but no need to worry now! .. go to Lowe's or your local hardware store and pick up this pack .. and you'll be good to go! I paid $1.05

    I got some stainless machine screws and washers from lowes and they work great. No need to use those wood screws.
    Buy my SC pulley removal tool

    No resistors needed. It's the whole light assembly. Including the light housing. The only thing they don't come with are the screws... Which is why I started the thread.

    They are fairly bright and illuminate the ground behind the car. ..fair warning... Hahah

    Fyi, on my late model b7, these looked like they were going to be way too big. I'm a bit anal, so I tried to figure out what the right screw is. It appears to be an M3 screw. I bought a pack of M3x10 screws and, imo, they fit better than OEM. They seem secure, and at least with the ecs leds that I got, the M3 screw sits up inside the hole.
