Single din flip out screen???

Anyone rocking a single din dvd/navigation stereo? I want to see pictures of how it looks on the audi. Im wanting to buy one instead of going double din. Please post some pictures, and maybe a video if you got one.

Double din is just so much cleaner imo... especially with the way our cars have the cup holder and vents right above, i'd just hate having the screen flip up everytime i'm in the car and block that stuff.

I've seen one person so far with a clean single din setup... and they used nogaro alcantra to match the nogaro suede seats on the trim kit for the headunit.

Yeah I love the double din look, but I just dont want it to get too expensive to do the double din conversion.

Pioneer avh p4200 double din...i think its 300 otd...got one in mine and i absolutly love it...double din ftw

Its all the parts involved, I wish mine came with a double din, I would have bought one already =(

Check cardomain for pics, I think a few audis on there use single din flipout screens. But to echo everyone else, double din will probably look better. 4200's are cheap if you shop around.

so what are the parts needed to do a double din conversion?
Im all for double din, just don't know enough about these cars to do a double din conversion.

Radio comes with the harness but u can go to cruthfield to order the harness adapter for the car harness to headunit harness

i have a single din navigation installed. in all honestly, it looks like crap, a double in will look cleaner. the ONLY upside i think of having a single in is the screen height. there is no need to look down into your console for directions.
