    2011 Black B8 A4 Grille Question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum, so forgive me if this question has come up a lot or if I posted it in the wrong place..

I have a Black 2011 Audi A4, and when I was on the wheel forumn I saw a black grille (picture below)

Anyways, I love the way this looks and I want to get it for my car. Does anyone have a product number? Or website I can order it from?

And does anybody know if it will fit my Non S-Line A4? Sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm a newbie

BTW. I forgot the name of the user who posted those pictures originally, but thank you.

if you are talking about the trim around the grill, that is part of the titanium package. if you are talking about the area where the license plate goes, that is the "plate filler" or plate delete
Which one are you looking for?

My guess is that is the stock grill sprayed with Plastidip.

Window trim is black as well, so probably titanium package, but yes, you can plastidip the grill

I mean the whole grille (if possible) right now my grille is this grey color with a license plate holder,

basically what I am curios about is, what do I have to do/purchase to get my grille to look exactly like that?

Cheapest would be to use plastidip (Home depot for $5.98 per can and paint it).
Or, titanium package grille is black and order at the europrice.us (Alex@eurprice on here) or one of several other advertisers or the dealer.

I mat be wrong, but I do not think that is a titanium package car... look inside the windshield, it looks like the car has silver interior trim.
Also, the center portion of the grille looks glossy, not matte. So, it could be a custom paint job...

Looks like it is either an S4 or Sline so it would have silver interior trim. I can't tell the headliner. If it is black, then it is titanium, if it is cream then it is an Sline or S4 that someone painted the grill on or bought

It looks (to me) like three "ribs" on the fog grills...I thought that was indicative of non SLine A4s...

Also, my SLine came with black headliner/pillars....

I could be wrong, but at least we have given options...paint it with plastidip or buy it from an advertiser on here :)

Can get the glossy black 3.2 grille and then plasti-dip the chrome surround on it.

I saw this same look and for cost reasons (and look reasons - wanted gloss black all up front rather than Black Optics which looks excellent as well but isn't gloss black on the grill part), decided to go with the 3.2 grill (ecs tuning) and then tried to do the BMW shadowline vinyl trick on the chrome trim on the grill surround - which was damn near impossible to get perfect. So last week had the chrome surround professionally painted ($100 but worth it for us OCD peoples) and now have a really really clean front end that I like way better than the factory gray.

aw man, a plate delete would finish that off so perfectly. looks great, though.

Everyone says that :) - I specifically ordered the US plate add on that pops right over the front because I do plan on running a front plate with my car (past cars, I haven't and gotten way too many frustrating tickets while parked somewhere). I might always change my mind later and pop the plate delete over it ;)

If you're getting it while parked, why not keep the plate under the seat, and throw it up on the dash when you park?

Speaking of which, I need to order mine....

the car in the original post is a European car, so options there are different.

If you guys were paying attention you'd realize it has the 09 mirror caps making ti impossible. It also has S-line interior, without exterior(european thing).

as for the grill, I'm sure its custom painted or some variety of that.

Ah, my AL friend (I'm a NC native), law enforcement even with parking cops is way different in CA. Every single ticket I received in my old car for no front plate... was while the plate was in the front windshield. I've had a cop tell me it was legal to do if I was waiting on a replacement front plate or bracket - however meter cops and fixit cops don't care. Short of showing up in court to fight my no front plate ticket, there's no easy way to protest and showing up in court just simply isn't worth the time and effort involved. Especially in W Hollywood when the wife and I have dropped in for food / shopping, they sort of know that people will just pay. It's ridiculous and infuriating, but it happens.

    That's a good reason.... lol

I'm actually a MA native. Down here in my own little LA (Lower AL) for work. I wouldn't even try driving around up there without the plate attached. Which is why I transferred my registration to AL, and will keep it that way as long as I can manage it...

AWESOME! thats the look I'm trying to go for, I notice you have S-Line will the 3.2 Grille fit my non- sline? and Do you mind sending me a link? I probably will just have the chrome painted as well, I'm super OCD and bound to mess it up if I tried to plasti dip or paint it myself.

I know this is not what you are looking for, but I to throw an idea: This is mine. I decided when installing the caractere body kit to change that sad matte grey to something that looked upt to the level of Caractere. So I painted in 100% matte black both the grille and the body kit parts. To me looks great! (sorry for the ugly license plates in my country!):

    Deleted (raw) the license plate

well it improved 10x by removing the ugly yellow license plate, but unfortunately there's a red and white square stuck in the teeth ;)

    aggressive!

That is the Caractere logo they send with the kit...(it says Caractere, perhaps no S4 wannabe..) But itīs ok, Many people donīt like it.
