The DV should be installed in the reversed from OEM orientation, and the lightest, Green spring installed in the DV, regardless of the maximum boost pressure setting.

The green spring will cause a surge in the power band if he uses it boosting past what it is rated for. He has the option of doing something like 2 shims and the green spring, or just the yellow sping if he goes past what it is rated for.

When I had my ECU flashed (using same dv), I drove to my tuner with the green spring in and Bosch F6DTC plugs already installed. If using plugs that need gapping, you will need to regap them from stock gap specs (I think it is .030") to .028" or you will expereince misfires. I chose the F6DTC to avoid having to do this, plus they are a good plug that don't need changing till 25k intervals. I experienced surging while enjoying the extra boost on the ride home (was peaking at 22psi when my turbo was healthy), due to having the green spring in. Swapped in the yellow spring, and have been riding like that for a while now.

And when it comes to orientation, either way will work just fine. Forge just recommends to place it in reverse (only applies to their DV) for better throttle response.

Meant to get back sooner guys, finals week.... but anyways yeah the audi dealership in Lexington is also APR sponsored.. 500 flat for stage one flash.. Not sure if people usually charge labor but they dont. They sell all of APR products.. Thinking about getting turbo back exhaust for xmas since theres no emissions in KY fa sho fa sho
