3 Beeps After Startup Assistance Appreciated

hey guys. When I started my car this morning I immediately got 3 beeps with no associated warning light. Tried again and got the same thing. I checked my oil level and it was extremely low. Since I was in need of a oil changed, I figured I would just do it. I checked how much oil came out and I only had roughly 1.7 quarts and there was no oil pressure complaint in the past few days. But even after the oil change (now with the appropriate level of oil), the I still get the 3 beeps with no associated light. I checked the fluid levels and topped off the coolant, but still get the same problem. I also vag-com the car and got HVAC, Airbag, and Radio fault codes that were already around in a previous scan.

I did unplug the coolant sensor jsut to see if it would show the warning light for that. What happened was that i would first get the 3 beeps immediately after starting up the car, and then a few seconds later get the 3 beeps complaining about the temperature (with the picture showing on the panel).

I've also read about the low main battery, and alarm battery problem, but the battery level seems fine so far. For the alarm battery problem, the 3 beeps sound like the normal 3 beeps when you have a low oil pressure and not really like the alarm arming beeps.

    any help would be appreciated.
    thanks

You should take out your owners manual and see what light is missing on the start up bulb check. As far as I know the lights that will make the beep are brake, abs, oil pressure, coolant temp/level, and single beep for fuel.

I'm thinking that the only things that can cause 3 beeps are overheat/low coolant or low oil pressure. I'd check operation of the oil pressure switch with an ohm meter upon cold start to see if it responds properly.

EDIT: Oh, yes. And the ABS of course. Had a brain seizure there for a quick minute.

    All the lights seem normal.
When I put in the key and turn it to on - EPS, CEL, brake, airbag, battery, seatbelt, and abs go on and then seatbelt and abs go away.
I also try to start the car again and this time the beeps started as soon as i turned the key to start the engine (before the car finished turning over), all the lights went away too without any complain on the display
checked the major fuses (abs, engine timing) and all of them were fine. also, when the abs fuse was pulled out and ignition was turned to on the car complained without needing to start the car
gave the car a spin around the block a few time and nothing abnormal - no weird sounds, temperatures were fine, jammed the brakes and abs did kick in

So this morning, even more trouble cropped up. Aside from the aforementioned beeps, at startup today, the car idles roughly and we have the flashing CEL. The VagCOM scan right afterward netted the following:

We poked around and measured block 125 on Address 17 and it gave us Engine1, which I assume means that communication with the ECU is okay. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like a memory fault in the radio. I wonder if the radio is screwed up and babbling on the K-line causing a communication issue between the ECU and Cluster. If just clearing the codes didn't do it, I'd try unplugging the radio. I'm not confident that's what's going on, but that's all I can come up with at the moment and it's worth a shot.
