I got a letter today (Audi Canada) that stated:
"Warranty Extension for Intake Manifold Runner Control Motor, Fuel Pressure Sensor (G410), and Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve"
For "Certain 2.0L TFSI Engine Vehicles"
For "10 years or 192,000kms"
What it covers: "This warranty extension covers the initial diagnosis scan of your vehicle. This warrenty extension will also cover the replacement of the Intake Manifold Runner Control Motor, Fuel Pressure Sensor (G410), and POsitive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve should the diagnosis indicate that these repairs are needed"
We all know these motors have PCV issues, I wonder if they would cover any sludge cleaning (doubt it). Also curious as to if they would use the "pcv fix" system or not.
Anyone else get this, I know there was another post about it, but it seemed slightly different maybe for US vehicles?
Im going to call my local dealer tomorrow to get some details, to see if I have to wait till my MIL comes on or if I can go in and get it replaced anyways.
