hi guys, new to the audizine forums and i like what i see so far. I purchased a 2007 a4 2.0t and i believe it has the symphony 2 deck. I really want to get navigation and ipod hookup in my car and ive decided that the audi factory nav isn't up to par and decided on the pioneer avic z130bt. now i really want this to have the navigation and the ipod controls as well as ipod video playback as well as to have the steering wheel controls work. What do i need to install this in my a4 knowing all i have is the head unit itself? ive done installs regarding subs and what not on my old car but never really with head unit work. all those wires make my head spin. Is this an easy install or am i better off gathering everything and taking it to an installer?

thanks for all the info ahead of time and i apologize if i post in the wrong area

    -Devin

You will need a dash kit, antenna adapter, wire harness, VW radio removal tools (4 of them), connectors or solder kit, and some extra wire (for accessory power, speed pulse, reverse, and illumination).

For the ipod integration you will need the extra Pioneer ipod cable part # CD-IU51V.

The install is pretty easy if have any 12 volt experience (and have a computer safe test light). If you're not comfortable ripping out the radio, knee bolster, and kick panel you should pay somebody.

Its a simple install if you have done car audio installs before and use the audizine website for reference. I did mine awhile ago and love it.
