    2004 A6 2.7 s-line:need help with wheel spacer size

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Ok, so I got a newer set of wheels: ALY58851 Audi 2011 A6 10 spoke wheel, Bolt Pattern: 112mm Offset: 48mm Audi Part Number: 4F0601025CP with tires 245/40 r 18 Conti's.
My OEM wheel was ET43, with 235/40R18 tires.
I Installed one wheel on the front and it is rubbing.
My question is what wheel spacer size I need:
    - 5 mm the difference of offset, or
-10 mm too make up for the wider tire?
    thanks

To answer this you need to know the width of the wheel

Has anyone experienced the rear being off. . . As in the left wheel is where the offset should be and the right wheel is tucking both have the same camber per last weeks alignment,

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1815045396...84.m1423.l2649

Thoughts on style? anyone see any issue with the rear being a 275 .... its a narrow body A6 by the way

    [IMG][/IMG]

    here's how it ended up
    Eurotek UO03 (BBS LM rep)
    18x9.5 et30
    255/40/18
    Eibach Pro-kit
5mm spacers up front for now to clear the brakes. I'm going to try a set of 3mm later. There is a little too much poke for me up front and the driver side front hits the upper inner fender bolt.

Does someone know why Audi s-line 19" rims are manufactured by two companies: Speedline and BBS?

Hi.. i want to buy these ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2912409445...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

    But they are 5x100 .. now i know i need 5x112...

I have had a look for some adapters.. the ones i have found are for 5x100 hubs to fit 5x112wheels...

I need them the other way around...!! are they available?? or will wobble bolts work??

How do wobble bolts work?? and are they safe??? does anyone on here run with them???

    Cheers... Colin

H and r do them the other way round I'm sure and available through venom Motorsport. Phone rich he's every good. Wobble bolts you may get away with if they were 5x110 or 5x114.3 so vaux/Saab or any jap other wise wobble bolts won't work. Hope this helps.

Picking up my c5 allroad next weekend. Really loving these setups. I want to safely push the envelope without rubbing period. Looking to order some forgestar cf5v's in 19x10. What is safe et? Sorry, but new to c5 platform. I see some 19x9.5 and 10 posted with a seemingly high et not to be rubbing inside. Also, 255 or 265/35 for tires? I realize certain manufatures run wider or narrower. Thanks for any help...maybe just go with 9.5 wide to be safe

    18x10 et35 clear uprights?

Ha. Thats the site I used to come up with the 20mm extra clearance needed. Thanks. I know I can space them out and should be ok. Just didnt want to have to redrill to be able to run spacers. Thanks again. Ive read entire thread 10 times in last week.

    Looking at these
    18x10 et35 or 15
    And these

    18x9.5 et22 or 12

Already had 15mm adaptor not enough to clear uprights. Was a little worried about that. Need 20 at minimum. Need to 100% confirm before ordering new ones.

Test fit only and verification of upright clearance using 15mm adaptor + 5mm spacer. All seems good. I may get 21mm adaptors made just to be safe though. All this for nothing as they are going away for winter storage. Oh well, had to verify spacer width. I'm pretty much sold. Entirely different feel to the car with these. 18x10 et35, 20mm spacing with 265/40 tires

Now for some IPP arms and more level 1 low

With all honesty I think it's great. It handles surprisingly well with it being being as low as it is, and stretched tires. Not fishy at all. However, I didn't necessarily track it at at that setup. I'll do it again come spring though, that's for sure.

    First Allroad Setup

    What's up everyone?

I used to own a B5 S4, up until 2 months ago when I switched to a 2001 Allroad. Got the car with 132k miles, 2.7t Manual Transmission. PO converted it to Coilovers (which I love and Hate). I've done some modifications, including; JHM SS, Navi, Full audio upgrade, and a few other things that I can't think of right now. I could keep going but the point was to post the upcoming setup for the C5! Can't wait to get these stock wheels off the car.

It's great when it all fits in the car and I still have the front seat empty.

    19x9.5 et40 with 25mm spacers all around.
    ZE950 245/40/19 tires

Can't wait! Will upload pictures once they're mounted, and installed on the car.

^Should look good. I run 19x10 rear with 255/40/19 on my Allroad with a net offset of et16. Fronts on mine are 19x9, still 255/40/19, net offset et20 I think.

Do you mind posting up a picture to see how it looks? Looks like you're about 5.5 mm farther out in the rear than I.

Thx. Wheels came off a Panamera 4S. Real, not reps. Yes, hub adapters that are hub centric and wheel centric, with studs. I think the offset of the wheels themselves are et61 rear and et60 front or something. Net specs are in post above.

My buddy is moving into a new shop soon so progress has stopped for a bit. The car is supposed to get painted early next year and we're still on track to have that happen.

Alright So I got the Tires mounted and installed...

My pup wouldn't move out of the picture haha

And I only got a picture of the Drivers Front. Damn coils are seized so I need to break them loose so I can lower the front about an inch :(

Kinda wishing I had gone 3mm more in the front and 5mm more in the rear. But I guess I won't know exactly until I get the height of the car where I want.

    Cheers!
