Tints with tan interior

I am planning on tinting my windows all around and was wondering if anybody had pictures of their beige interior with 35%. I am concerned that because of the light interior, I should go darker for a clean look.
Any recommendations are welcomed

I have 15% on the sides/rear and 70 on the windshield. Some times it isn't dark enough for me.

All i can say is 35% is barely noticeable with light interior color.
I have 35% front and something like 30 or 25% in the back cause of state limit, but the fronts look they are not tinted at all if you look at the interior straight throught the windows. And rears only look slightly darker...
You definitely want to go dark within the limit.

just got mine done at 35% all the way around no windshield. during the day the fronts look like they are hardly tinted. but at evening and night its beautiful.. stay with in the limit

I would consider a 5% strip down to the as1 line on the windshield that might get you darker with in your limit.

35% all around, not bad but I want to go darker. My plan is to do 5% from the b pillars back and 20 or 28% on the fronts (had the same set up on my old e30 and loved it)

You definitely want to go dark within the limit.

Sadly I live in Jersey where it's prohibited to have any tints on your front side windows.

And Hambone, are those 20% or 28% on your front windows of your E30?

monkeesa6: Cops don't fuck with me in general and I don't have a front plate either. Granted having LEM plates, my cousin being wsp, and having a couple buddies that are everett pd certainly doesn't help.

I get speeding tickets occasionally, but that's about it.

I had 35% on the sides and 20% on the rear, and loved it. Never had a cop mess with me about it, gave a good look to the car, and did not lose visibility.

Limo all the way around, 50% on front windshield... Second picture is hard to see the tan but only ones I have off hand...

No, my car isn't for sale any more. I can't get what I believe the car is worth, so it doesn't make sense to sell it. So, I'll just keep throwing money at it like a stripper.

ALWAYS go darker. I used to tint windows.

I would NEVER go lighter than 20% on any of my cars.

I've got my sisters black rsx with black interior wrapped in 30% with a 40% windshield. She loves it

My moms B6 Avant wrapped in 30% on the rear doors, rear glass, and the front doors have 35% on them and the windshield has 50% on it. My moms 66 years old and has vision issues but wishes it was a tiny bit darker on the front doors, like 30% on the front doors instead of 35.

My E46 has 35% on it and a 70% windshield. I absolutely HATE it. my dad normally drives this, he had horrible vision but had a lot of eye surgery, now he wants it darker.

My A6 has 5% on the front 2 doors, 2 layers of 5% on the rear 2 doors, My rear windshield has 2 Layers of 5% and one layer of 20% on it, and my front windshield has 30% on it.

My mom has driven my a6 and its too dark for her to drive but my entire family and all my friends, LOVE riding in the car because of the privacy.


My subaru with black interior had 30% on everything including the front windshield

My golf had 10% on everything and 30% on the windshield

My 240 had 30% on everything and 35% on the windshield so i was able to see when drifting but still drive daily comfortably.

My motorcycle helmet has a smoked visor????


I'd say do ATLEAST 30% tint and a 50% windshield. Most people dont realize how awesome having the windshield is. Also if your worried about getting hassled see if your state does medical exemptions for window tint.


I have never received a tint ticket in my entire life and ALL my cars have ALWAYS been tinted. and VERY dark. No issues, I have a medical waver though.

you should check to make sure you can tint your windshield at all. IK here in NY it is illegal to put anything on the Front window. Or so I was told.
