What did you do to your B6 today?

Brand new this thread. I usually hang out inside the WDYDTYB7T area, but now I'm actually dialing in my B6 USP 6QMT.

I picked up a good looking set of 18" rotors from a local guy for a good price with a season left on the Michelin's. Went to the shop, did a mach--up and I'll be needing some hub rings and spacers to clear my Stoptech BBK, no clue how PO didn't have spacers up front with the OEM Ultrasport wheels. I suspect he might have done some fender pulling also, nonetheless, a favor once these bad boys are installed.



And a photo of the car in case anyone cares. You'll be seeing a lot of me here. Cheers!!

Spent the evening replacing a dead backup video camera in the trunk lid of my sedan. An $15 camera that's installed instead of one of the license plate lights, a very nice and neat thing. I assume you guys know about these cams, but if anyone's interested in links or photos, I can provide.

Where did you get them? Was the fit good? Any risk of water intrusion around them vs OEM part?

P.S. I need to post an update here as my interior went through a big big refresh that is still in progress a bit. :)

The fitment is 100% perfect just like the OEM puddle lights. If you look under your door, the puddle lights pop out from one edge. It's super easy to replace them. Pop off the old ones and pop these ones on.

Bought it off a AZ'er about 2 years ago and just finished building my motor. So it's going in!

wow beautiful stuff. make sure you add a turbo brace to support the weight of the turbo. also make sure your exhaust downpipe has a flex pipe. from what i recall Agtronic manifolds although beautiful crack over and over again.

Yeah, I got a little lucky. I happened to search the part number of the grills on the Polish equivalent of eBay and was pleasantly surprised. Other parts seemed to cheaper there too. Not sure if I would have come out ahead though if I had to have it shipped to the US though. I feel for you guys though, seems like most parts in Australia are more expensive.

Well, about a week after i put the exhaust, cat delete pipe, and downpipes on the turbo blew. So, replaced the turbo and then gave ol' Kevin a detail.















End results on 14 year old paint...
