Are oem Audi A4 roof bars compatible with B7 and B8?

Long story short.. I've got some Audi A4 roof bars for the rack system, I believe they were purchased for a B8 but I've got a B7... Anyone know of these will fit?

B8 roof line is totally different from a b7... But i mean i run b5 bars on my b7. all i needed were just some rubber shims to prop under the feet of the rear bars... It never hurts to just try em and see if you can find a way to make it work...

Sorry to dig up an old thread. I picked up some genuine Audi roofbars for my B7, only to find they are for a B8. They do fit, in a fashion. There are holes in the door frames that line up with the door frame clamps, the only real issue is the feet don't all sit in all the channels.. They are rubber feet, so it's not really a big issue for me, There might be issues if you are trying to hook it up to other Audi roof system components (like the bike mount), me I just want to tie down some skis.

Anyone if anyone is interested has B7 Audi roofbars that wants to swap them for B8 roofbars, and are located in the UK, I have some and interested to trade.
