Just purchased an 06 b7 quattro and was wondering if anybody has put either 18x10 or 19x10 in the front as well as the rear? And if so what are the specs and how much fender work was needed, any feedback is appreciated thanks

10's and 11's have been done in both of the 18" and 19" flavors. 12's are the new frontier!

It's not easy but yes you can get 10s to fit...
I'm no wheel expert but it used to be that 9.5" wheels were the benchmark for the front, but i guess with the right offset and spacers/camber anything is possible.

better question, what is the max size with zero camber, and limited stretch? My 18x9's dont leave much room... I cant imagine 10's

19x8.5 ET27 in the rear with a 235/35 and I'm around 24 7/8ths in the rear and no rubbing at all. Front is 19x8.5 ET35 and is at 24 with no rubbing. I need to throw a bigger spacer in the rear and some big ones in the front

Depends on how low you plan to go. et32 up front on 8.5's and 235 tires. et35 9.5's with 275's in the rear. But I'm lowered on a spring/shock combo, and not coils.

I honestly don't ^see the point in running anything bigger than a 10" in the front... Maybe it's just me though.
Rears, hell yes the wider the better, but I think your handling characteristics might be hindered going wider on the front...

No offense, but if you're going to talk about handling, then why stretch the tire in the first place.

Call me old school, but I have always been a fan of running wider wheels so I can squeeze wider tires. 225/40 has less contact patch than the OEM's.
How is handling with those anyways?

ding ding ding. Wider wheels are great for handling until you start stretching sidewalls and shrinking the contact patch on the tire. At that point, you've chosen form over function (which is fine, but don't expect the best of both worlds)

I put the biggest shit i could on mine to get traction 19x10 in the rear with 275/30/19. No stretch there and my H&R coils are all the way down. Offset was a bitch and i dont remember off hand what the offset ended up being.

I wasnt worried about having autox handling. I can still take on ramp baends at 45 and they almost start to lose grip. Its more than enough for me. Im trying to take it easy on my A4, dont want any unnecessary repair bills. Aside from just the tires, the coils help, the RS4 sway helps and the 640 mod gives you the feel for it. Im thinking when i need new tires im going to raise it about a half inch and go with a beefy set up.
