Question Aftermarket intake manifold for 2.0T?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have done some searching and not had much luck finding anything for the 2.0T engine. There are some examples of 1.8T manifolds out there.

I was wondering if anyone may know if such a beast exists or maybe if someone is willing to produce one.

HEP makes an intake for our cars stage 1,2,and 3.......you need stage 2 if you are planning on going BT, stage 1 is kind of pointless

yea you can google the HEP intake manifold for the 2.0t engine.....i think it says horizontal engine only but i think VIZI said it would fit without issue also

you'll find out more info but the stage 2 i believe had 2 or 4 ports for a water meth kit if you should be so inclined......i mean it really would help solve the fueling issue for the BT set ups

Can you explain what the purpose of an aftermarket intake manifold would be?

Depends on what you're trying to do. A manifold with a larger plenum and shorter runners will shift the powerband higher, but allow better engine breathing. In order to use such a manifold for significant power gains, other mods like exhaust, intercooler and piping, larger turbo, bigger cams, more boost, etc would need to be made. Otherwise all you'd be doing is adding turbo lag and shifting the powerband for minimal gains, if anything at all. Without everything else you'd most likely lose power.

Started off with my roaming Max's build thread, and then I saw:

It will be geared towards BAT cars, not K04 stuff, whereas our 1.8T manifold actually has good gains on a stock turbo all the way up to a BAT.
