    Cool 2012 A4 1/4 miles time

    Hello all,

    I'm a new member here and will soon have my first A4 (hoping the end of the month, will post pictures.)

    Quick question, I know that 2012 A4 0-60 is 6.5 seconds, but what about 1/4 miles? I know the A4 is faster than bmw 328 and MB C300, but my friend keep telling me that A4 will slow down after 60miles since it is only a four cylinder. I'm hoping to find some answer here and prove my friend wrong.

    My guess would be 14.9 around 90ish mph stock. This cars too fat. But hey at least it'll look sexy going that slow.

    a4 is faster than 328i? u sure about that? and the a4 will accelerate slower after 60mpg. our engines have more torque than horsepower

    Edit: if your talking about the 328xi then yes the a4 is generally faster

    The comparison was done with with a quattro A4, 328xi and c300 4matic, and IS250 awd. It's the fastest of all of those but I'm pretty sure the fwd version wouldn't do as good when compared to their rwd versions. At least until you go stage 1 then I'm pretty sure it'll take all of them regardless of drivetrain.

    With Stage 2 I ran in the 13's and trapped 102 I believe. 0-60 in 5.0 all Vbox verified and a 0% decline/incline road. All these numbers were backed up by other cars that have a number of track days and the numbers were dead on. Vbox is what most magazines use anyways. From a 40 roll I slightly pull on my friends automatic modded g37. Car put down 240whp/305wtq and I got driver mod

    I slipped the clutch at around 3200. I have apr stage 2 flash, awe exhaust, testpipe

    Hopefully track is open this weekend, then I can show what a stage 3 b8 can do. Hearing 13's on stage 2 gets me excited. But I had stage 2+ and didn't have that much power and I had FMIC, test pipe and apr tune and was only doing 226 whp
