The QuattroWorld.com Q7 is in for a "stance" consultation. We immediately decided we need to GO WIDE courtesy of TRAK+ Wheel Spacers from our good friends at H&R. Update later... Gorgeous ride though, no?

Extended wheel bolts (we stock those also) would be needed for H&R's DR-style spacer. We are going to attempt H&R's DRA-style spacers that come with hardware so you would not need to purchase additional wheel bolts. PM sent with pricing. Give us a few days (after QW returns for the install) to confirm fitment before ordering.

Not yet, at least not through our current exhaust manufacturers.

What is the bore on the stock wheels for the 2011 Q7? I have spacers on my TTS and S4 and I know both of those had different bore sizes. I want to get spacers on my Q7 but I want to make sure I get the right size.

Not only a different bore size but a different bolt pattern, too. The Q7 is a 5x130 bolt pattern with a 71.6 center bore.

Bruce's Audi Q7 sits very nicely over a set of our 22" Hartmann HRS4-252 Wheels in Hyper Silver. 23mm DR-style H&R Trak+ Spacers bring the wheels out closer to the fender for that nice, aggressive look!

Do the 23mm spacers cause any problems with tire rubbing? I have the air suspension on my Q7 S-line and I want to make sure there will be no issues with tire rubbing when making a full lock turn. Also are you going to package the spacers and lugs in a package deal anytime soon?

No rubbing on any of these set-ups. In fact Bruce's Q7 had room to come out further but he wanted to keep things "civil". Our H&R spacer prices are very competitive, and so are the hardware we sell with them. On top of that we offer FREE SHIPPING in the Continental US so it won't get much better than that.

So just to make sure I get the right things. I will need to orders of spacers and 2 orders of lugs. How long should I get the bolts?

    Thanks for your help.

The bolt length would depend on what size spacer you pick up. If still going with the 23mm spacer, the bolt length would be 58mm. Ball-seat style bolt if spacing out your factory wheels.

We are grateful for images that were just sent to us by one of our customers of this gorgeous Audi Q5 featuring H&R's Sport Spring kit and a set of Hartmann HRS4-252GA:M wheels. The H&R springs lower the Q5 about 1.6" up front and 1.5" out back, and the wheels are 20x9 with a 40mm offset. Click here to see the rest of the images in our gallery!

We determined the QuattroWorld.com Audi Q7 needed 18mm DR style H&R wheel spacers up front and 30mm DRA style spacers out back to even out the "stance" and give the Q7 a much more aggressive look. Mission accomplished!

Jim negotiated a Hartmann Wheel install when he bought his new Audi Q5 from Audi Wilsonville in Oregon. Soon after taking delivery, Jim was on our door step in anticipation of having the 20" Hartmann HRS6-204 Wheels thrown on his new ride! The factory offsets are always a bit on the weak side and we mentioned to Audi Wilsonville that the 20x9 +25mm offset would be a better fit for the Q5, filling the fenders out nicely and giving it that much needed, aggressive stance. We're glad they went for it, and we're happy to report Jim is a happy customer!

That looks awesome. I have a Q5 S line (2011) . Could I run the same rim/tire/spacer combo you have on the Q7 ? , if so what is the spec
    Thanks ...

The Q5 and Q7 use some pretty different specs though you may be able to use wheel adapters to run the OEM Q7 wheels (5x130 bolt pattern) on the Q5 (5x112 bolt pattern). The OEM Q7 wheels are a 21x10" with an ET44 offset. Adapters are usually available in 20-25mm thickness. Running a 10" wheel with an effective ET24 offset of the Q5 would place the face of the wheel outside of the fenders though which may not be the look you are trying to achieve.

Another option would be to pick up a set of Hartmann HRS6-204 wheels in 20x9.0" ET25 which would be a direct fitment and pretty aggressive looking on the Q5. The wheels are currently only available in gloss silver but you could probably have a local wheel repair shop refinish them in the Audi style titanium finish for a few hundred dollars.

Thanks guys for the reply. I still think the wheel well is to big on Ryan's , that's what I'm trying to avoid . I already have the Audi 20" rims . Im looking to drop it and add an exhaust system . But I love the aggressive stance of the Black Q7, that's the look I want

In 30+ years, this is the first time Hartmann Wheels has their own center cap!

Achtuning is proud to offer a free set of Hartmann Wheel caps with every Hartmann Wheel order. Hartmann Wheels are still compatible with select OE wheel caps for those looking for a "factory look."

I'm interested in the Hartmann B7 HRS4-252-GS, 20x9, 25 offset for my Audi Q5. Will the tire stick out of the front fender? Do you have pics of this offset on a Q5? Side profile preferably.

Ben picked up his Audi Q5 from University Audi in Seattle and just before taking delivery, he had arranged for his salesman to bring us his new purchase to outfit it with a set of our Hartmann HRS6-204-MA wheels. The similar design to the factory version offers an OEM+ look with our matte-anthracite finish and is a great look for Ben's Q5.

Nope, these are the +40s. (only offset available in this finish) I do prefer the +25 offset but that's easily achieved with wheel spacers.

Before and after comparison shots show what a big difference that lower wheel offset makes when its on the car. After installing low-offset-achieving H&R wheel spacers on his Audi TTS, Barry returned with his Q7 so we could install our 22" Hartmann HRS4-252-GS wheels. The 50mm offset and 9.5" specs sit further out in the fenders and give the Q7 that sportier look. While nothing was needed up front, a pair of H&R's DR-style 23mm spacers were added out back to match the wheel position in the fender with the way the fronts sit. The end result is a much sportier version of what rolled off the factory floor, and likely at a fraction of the cost!

While we are very brand loyal with regard to the parts we sell at Achtuning, we certainly wouldn't turn away an install of reputable-brand parts we don't offer, especially when it comes to brake and suspension upgrades as we feel we specialize specifically in those areas. So when Jason contacted us to install a set of KW V2 coil-overs on his Q5, we were happy to oblige!

An already fantastic-looking Audi Q5 thanks to the Caractere body kit and HRE wheels is made even better with the lowered stance and performance-oriented suspension! Thanks for the opportunity, Jason!!

You probably wouldn't need a spacer, honestly. Put 'em on first, then determine.

We've got one set of "blem" HRS6-204s we can ship now if you're interested (at 10% off) or it'll be about 6-weeks or so before the next container arrives and replenishes our inventory. Feel free to send us your full contact details (name, phone, email, vehicle, wheel selection) and we will be happy to put you on the back-order list and call you when the wheels are back in stock.

GOOD NEWS!! MANY of you are on waiting lists for wheels that have been out of stock for a LONG time. It's been frustrating for everyone and we can't thank you enough for your continued patience! As of this morning's sales meeting, we are told the first (of several) Hartmann Wheel containers will be shipping THIS week! That puts us in the 4-week (ish) time frame for delivery of our first shipment. STAY TUNED for Hartmann Wheel delivery updates at ACHTUNING!
