VW Huffs or Detroits on B7 A4

Hey, new to my Audi, but a semi-loyal VW guy. I had an '06 GLI w/ the 18" Huffs, now called Detroit w/ a slightly different paint scheme. Has anyone put these on an A4,5,or anything else? They're hot on the GTI/GLI, I think we'll all agree. I think they might look good on my silver A4 too...and where to buy...

Please don't, works on the gti because of the bubbly shapes and what not. Personally don't think these would look good on any sedan, only hatchbacks

Ok, thanks to all...the pic really helped! I probably could've done that myself, but whatever lol...I think its a resounding no...I'll consider something else. Maybe RS6 wheels or something. Any thoughts on the weight of the replica wheels from PowerWheelsPro.com? The reviews are good, but I don't really want 30lb 18's...I know thats an exaggeration, but it merits consideration.

Check out the vmr website. Most people on here have vmr wheels or a replica wheel from another model. But the vmr's really look good on these cars. Try to keep it simple, you really don't want to rice up an Audi.

I agree the lambo wheels would be a better choice than the ones on the GTI which look horrible on our car as the other members have already stated our cars are classy!

Huffs are the ugliest VW OEM wheel, I can't beleive they brought them to the MK6.

I sell VWs and I believe the MK6 was an awesome update.... except they kept these wheels on the GTI. Why!!! All I think of our ninjas when I see them, and then I think of Escalades.

If you still interested, Hartman's/Achtuning has them available just recently.

I will pass on that look, it just doesn't work for me and I don't think an Avant would be the better for it unlike a GTI which is half the size..

I was thinking that, I've seen way too many guys w/ stock Civics on 19's...tasteless...problem is I need tires in the spring, snows now...I'll see if I can save for struts too...gotta figure what I want. I want nice, comfy, sporty, and not too expensive. This car will likely never see the track.

ive also wondered this. except with the updated detroits on my b6 avant. i think theyd look good. that photoshop isnt enough to kill this for me. i wanna mount or place two of them next to my car before coming to a decision.

and for the record. those gallardo reps look hideous to me. even on the gallardos.

My brother is getting a new GTI soon and hes getting the step-up Convenience&Sunroof upgrade ONLY so he doesn't have to have the Detroits. And he currently drives a 1999 Saab 9-5 with the original 16" 5-spokes so its not like he's a wheel snob. They're just that ugly even HE hates them, haha.

Honestly, I'd take steelies over the Detroits. Probably.

True, some clueless guy at my work has a GTI bone stock and he always trys to chat about me about cars cause he thinks his is sweet.. and it actually looks better in the winter when it is on black steelies, than the Troits

Don't forget the Denver's that came with my 2010 gti. They suck too... currently running my friends stock B5 S4 wheels which are exactly the same size as my stock Denver's, until I find something else for the VW.
