    255 to 245 Tires

The S Line pkg comes with 255/35R19 on 19" wheels. I have the option to buy (locally) some 19" wheels with 245/35R19's on them. Looks like a VERY minor speedometer difference (less than 0.3%). Any issues in doing this? They're going on a 2012 A4.

    245s will look more bad-ass

Downside is slightly less wheel protection.

No issues at all. I've run 245/35/19 on my old wheels.

If I could do it again, I would have gone 245's vs 255's.

What's the big deal about dropping to 245?? I kinda like the look of 255's on my 19" peelers. Especially with 10mm spacers, the car looks so wide looking at the back and very menacing from the front!!

I've been looking for a comparison pic for a while now...curious to see what the 255's and 245's would look like side by side. Is the 245's profile that much smaller?

Even tires of the same size but different brand will look different. Your best bet for a comparison is to look at a 245 and 255 of the same brand and "model".

try 245's and 17mm spacers, then we'll see how menacing it is
