Audi center cap for TSW wheel?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
A few weeks ago I had TSW Nurburgring wheels put on my '04 A6. I've been looking around for Audi center caps that are as close a match to the hypercoated color of the wheels but haven't been able to find anything...even on ebay.

Any suggestions? Has anyone run into the same or a similar problem? I've measured the cap size at 3 inches but can't seem to find anything.

    Thanks,

    -Ed

Chances are you'll have to get something custom. Audi center caps are usually only 57mm or 66.6mm. You can also have trying getting a vinyl graphic made.

Ugh I'm in the same boat. Thinking of either plastidipping the caps or custom vinyl.

I just got mine, and ya the RS4 caps are too small. Although they don't look bad on top of the TSW caps. I'll try a DIY solution and let you know how it turns out!

Also interested in these. I have a set of black TSW Mallory 5 on the way for my black S5.

I've emailed this ebay seller to see if they can make the vinyl labels in the appropriate size.

I just got a set Nurburgrings and tried these caps from ebay(2.75 inch). They DO NOT fit! They are to small. Center Caps.net has the same caps in (3.00 inch) that look like they should fit. I'll try them. If not.. a little DIY dremel on these caps and some good
double side stick tape and stick them on the TSW caps. Should be good to go.

Audacious, u should go with matching red centercap [vinyl or plasti dipped] and try red on the lip. If u don't like it, doesn't cost u much.

I kind of forgot about it. Doesn't really bother me anymore. The vinyl printouts are still the easiest way to go. Like $15-20 for the set and they can print any size and color and unless you put your face against the wheel, you won't be able to tell.

I did the centercap mod shown on Jackks post above. I took the tsw cap, removed the chrome ring and the metal logo sticker. Then I dremmelled out the center of the plastic tsw centercap, put the chrome ring back on and mounted the RS4 cap to the tsw cap. Then I used an epoxy glue as a secondary precaution to ensure nothing pops off. Basically its a centercap mounted to a centercap. You just have to take your time when dremmelling the tsw cap so that the RS4 cap fits snug. Im really happy with how it came out and makes the Nurburgrings look even better. I can't stand the shiny TSW cap. It makes the wheels look cheap. Thanks to Deckdout2 for helping me with this DYI.
